Considering that this flamer is in Turkey(a muslim country), and what muslims typically do to flamers(behead, drop from top of buildings etc) I think the flamer should consider himself lucky.

Whether they are moral equals or not isn't relevant to me. It's the government being allowed to hose them down and abuse them simply for what they are saying - THAT I object to. And if it's okay to hose down the gays it's okay to hose down whoever else the government doesn't like.
