Utter bravery!

No, we want to sell it with the flat-fee realtor we used, to save the 6 percent commission. We are on the MLS system like a place that is being sold through a traditional realtor. The only difference is, we do the showings and open houses ourselves. The MLS listing comes up on all the websites (realtor.com, etc..) just like it would if a realtor got 6 percent of the sale price. If someone calls us (our number is on the listing) and brings no realtor with we save the whole 6 percent, if someone does bring one we have to pay them 3 percent. We act as our own realtor, as far as showings and by doing that save 3 or 6 percent. It only cost 500 to list it, and get the professional sign in the yard. We will save 15-30 thousand dollars not going the old traditional realtor route.

The man representing the sellers of the farm we have an accepted offer on, is a rural realtor specialist. However their place has been on the market 2 years, so not sure how good he is. Not good enough to give 30 grand to just to show our house for us. LOL.

I pray all the time that this will work out, and the right buyer will be sent our way.

It has only been 3 weeks since the MLS listing was started. Yes, it’s true, I am not patient at all. Not my strong suit.
