So the left has now decided that premarital sex and single motherhood are bad things, worthy of ridicule and humiliation.

wow

I agree. She needs support now.

Well, only for daughters of conservatives.

I wish Bristol Palin’s ex-fiancé would persuade her to marry him. Shotgun weddings often work out well.

Sarah killing her special needs child, and Bristol killing her two unplanned babies would have saved the family a lot of grief...

but the Palin’s are not democrats and felt life was more important.

I’ve messed up, but I’ve owned up to my mistake and am trying to move forward..

So you're returning the $30k per abstinence speech fees?

Oh, I get it, you're figuratively owning up to your mistake and not literally.

Don’t worry about Bristol her mother is worth about $15-$20 million. It will all be OK.

Jeez only $30k for speaking. Chelsea gets $62k a pop. And just having to look at CC is a better abstinence tool that looking at Bristol, who for all of her faults is pretty cute.

It takes a lot of courage to admit one has messed up. Too many people blame others or make half assed apologies.

They will go after her for any reason simply because she's Sarah Palin's daughter. But she is certainly worthy of ridicule for her lectures on abstinence to us all while she, clearly, isn't walking the walk.

And nobody would likely even know if she didn't live her personal life in public a la the Kardashians.

Dakota needs to man up and do the right thing. Leave him a message on facebook or twitter. He brags about being a marine when he’s not even a man

if it’s his child

Bristol, darlin’.

Around here, we call folks that talk the talk, but don’t walk the walk, hypocrites.

At least we used to.

And the “right” has decided that fatherless children will do just fine as long as the mother has money.

Isn’t that the rationale behind paying the underclass to have children ... “the government is their daddy”?

Marriage is up to them. Clearly they are already working outside the realm of what is ideal. The baby will be welcomed and loved. That I applaud. The mistake that got them there is so widely committed that I think, while important to acknowledge, it should be at this point dropped by critics. They can’t undo it. Love and provide for the baby. Marriage or not is something only they can choose. Both mother and father need to make a life long commitment to the children. Whether they also make a life long commitment to each other is something they must decide. We can all see why doing things the other way around is better. But that is not an option. I do not know the details. I’ll just celebrate the baby and wish them well.

There are situations where I would see the natural parent(s) as unfit to raise the child. This is not one of them. Relevant in today’s world, I would say homosexuality is one such thing that makes a parent unfit. But that view has been banned by the Supremes.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2010/10/01/bristol-palin-gets-political-with-abstinence-pro-life-message.html

Apparently Bristol has never heard of Google.

“There may be multiple forms of contraception, but I’m here to say that one fact remains. Those that practice abstinence have no chance of becoming pregnant,” Bristol Palin said Thursday, to cheers from the predominantly white and affluent audience. “Abstinence is not about morality, it is about reality. It is the only thing that works every time. My message is a simple one: Don’t make the same decision I made, just wait. Young ladies, please hear me.”

Well it’s true. I’m sure lots of people here would rather she put the kid up for adoption so they could sit smugly knowing the child had NO original parents though. Because they are crazy people without a functional brain that say dumb things to hear the sound of their own perfection.

We should pray to them I think.

What “is true”? That money replaces a child’s father?

One only has to read the subsequent comments in these Bristol Palin threads to see that it isn't just the left that are targeting her for ridicule.........
