Trumpus Interruptus -- Will Trump Pullout of Presidential Run, Again?
07-07-2015 | STE=Q

Posted on 07/07/2015 12:39:28 AM PDT by STE=Q

Is "The Donald" in for the long hall, or is he going to "Pull Out" at the last minute -- like he has done so many times before?

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/may/16/donald-trump-us-presidential-race

I don't think he has demonstrated that he is in for the long haul.

Therefore I have taken the liberty to give him the handle of Trumpus Interruptus!

I confess that I was excited (as was his collective base) when he announced in 2012 that he was considering a run for the republican nomination for President of the United States.

I was thus willing to overlook the fact that he was a bona fide Megalomaniac.

That he was a "tinsel town" Hollywood celebrity.

That he sported the worst "comb-over" in the history of hair!

Did I mention that he's a megalomaniac?

Oh yeah, the Trumpet's a real genius too.

I've been harping on the dangers of ILLEGAL immigration for at least 16 years -- and many of you have for twice that long -- and suddenly Trump decides it's time to make the clarion call!

Donald is just Trumpeting (pun not intended) what people want to hear!

Sorry, but I've seen this movie before.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!

I wont be supporting Trumpus Interruptus any time soon.

"So you think we have the logistical apparatus to deport 30 million illegals immediately?"

We won't have to deport them. They will leave on their own if we cut off the jobs and social service freebies. Then make it clear that the ONLY way they can become US citizens is to go back their own country and apply for legal immigration status.

So who’s your man that says he is ready to DEPORT 30,000,000 people?

If you find him, let me know, and I’ll support him. I still haven’t found him.

Go after the employers of the illegals and the “land of opportunity” will go away.

If you are talking about employers who knowingly hire illegals, those who help them get fake documents or pay them under the table – absolutely!

However there are employers who follow the rules of completing I-9 and use the E-Verify system that still get stung by unknowingly hiring an illegal with fake documents.

With the I9 all the new hire has to do is present either one document from list A or two documents one from list B and one from list C. As the employer I have to accept those documents “as long as they appear reasonably genuine on their face and relate to the employee”. In other words, I’m not a forensic document specialist. As long as the document “reasonably appears” to be genuine, I have to accept it and cannot legally ask for additional forms of identification even if I suspect the person is here illegally. In fact there are all sorts of penalties if I do, the employer could also be sued by the Government for discrimination. And with E-Verify, if it comes back with a “tentative non-confirmation”, i.e. that the person’s name and the document(s) presented on their I9 do not match in the DHS and INS databases, I have to keep them employed while they contest, if they choose to do so.

Immigration laws are designed to create a hostile environment and to choke off economic sustainability. This in turn causes the illegal to repatriate himself via the sames means of the original illegal entry. Enforcing the law would work. But you knew that already. You just like to spew liberal talking point.

Trump has set the stage for ANY conservative who REALLY wants to be POTUS. He tells it like it is and has some very good points about how to FIX the problems we now face. IF he drops out, fine, I have no problem with that. Hopefully however, those who remain will pickup where he leaves off and carry the ball to victory.

:: So you think we have the logistical apparatus to deport 30 million illegals immediately? ::

(1) I contend that your 30MM ^illegal^ immigrants^ number is inflated and summarily in error. Please provide census data to prove your assertion.

(2) Yes, we do have the resources to ex-filtrate each and every ^illegal^ immigrant found in the US. Due to the regulatory nature of the FedGov, all transportation entities can be suborned (with minimal FED compensation) to provide transportation for said ^illegal^ immigrants back to their land of birth / legal-residence; Greyhound, all US airlines.

I’d posit that BorPat can arrange, today, such transport within the budget and physical resources they have now. Since we are not protecting the Border, put the BorPat folks to work as “travel agents”.

No way is Trump going to bow out. Does anyone think that someone so focused on being a winner could even CONSIDER dropping out now, and go down in history as a LOSER?

Hernando Cortez burnt his ships on the shores of Mexico, thereby committing him and his troops to win or die.

Trump has burnt his ships on the shores of America, and he’s now totally committed to fight to the death.

It’s going to be an epic battle, watch closely, we’ll never get to see something so exciting, so American, again in our lifetimes.

We are living in an historical moment. Alert your family and friends, they’ll want to watch, or perhaps even volunteer to be part of it.

“...change our laws and system so we aren’t pulling people here...”

Difficult to do when we are the greatest nation on erf.

“I have to keep them employed while they contest, if they choose to do so.”

That’s nuts! And by the time you get to those forms I suppose you have already given them the job. I wonder if those forms could be part of the application process, so if they look fishy you dump the application in the garbage along with all the ones that don’t meet your qualifications?

I use part-time helpers in my work - but they are all college or recent graduates in environmental type studies - so not the typical stomping grounds of illegals. Still though - I go through the paperwork checks.

Obviously!

Trump would say You're a liar.

He could also go to the top of one of his "Trump Towers" and try to fly.

Obviously!

Trump would say You're a liar.

And I would reiterate that he's a megalomaniac with the worst comb-over in the history of hair!

So far he's "talked the talk"... but we have no reason -- from his track record -- to believe that he will "walk the walk."

I and others supported him in 2012 and he left us to twist in the wind like a bunch of fools.

Like I said: fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

I don't intend to make the same mistake twice.

The way it works is that the employer must have the newly hired employee complete the I9 and the employer is to view those original documents in person within 3 days of their DOH. E–Verify also has to be completed within the first 3 days after the DOH but not before the DOH. It is actually illegal to ask an applicant or someone you have made a job offer to, to provide the I9 documents prior to their first day of work and you cannot ask for them as part of the job application.

That sounds like some sort of “compromise” when the law(?) came into effect.

“We need to make sure that people aren’t hiring illegals!!!”

“Okay. But you have to hire them first before you can check.”
