According to Public Policy Pollings Wednesday poll, Donald Trump is in first place among GOP candidates in North Carolina, receiving 16 percent of the vote.
Jeb Bush and Scott Walker are trailing close behind with 12 percent. Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson, and Marco Rubio all received less than 10 percent of the vote.
The outspoken billionaire and real estate tycoon is especially favored by very conservative voters, with 66 percent favoring him as opposed to 24 percent who have a negative view of Trump.

I realize this just in one state, but this seems sigificant.
Keep it up Trump.
Public Policy Polling surveyed 529 registered voters overall, 288 Republican primary voters, and 286 Democratic primary voters from July 2nd-6th. The margin of error for the overall survey is +/- 4.3%, and for each of the primary subsamples its +/-5.8%.Trump gets 16% of the votes with a margin of error of nearly 6%. Bush and Walker at 12%, so the margin of error is equal to half of their votes. These polls are bordering on meaningless.
The most important thing about this is who is reporting. Since when do the lame stream press say anything good about a leading republican?
The polls will catch up to Trump...they always lag. In a week he’ll be the clear overall leader, providing that he doesn’t stumble.
True but you can say that about any poll at this stage of the game.
The real meaning is not the numbers, but the fact that trump has raised an issue that only the people want to talk about.
Neither party wants to get any where near the topic of illegal murderers, rapist, drug dealers etal because the American sleeping giant gets really pissed when it finally awakens and finds out that an illegal latino has stolen his bowl of porridge.
Can't argue with that. Trump has definitely found an issue that is generating publicity.
That interview with the bimbo reporter yesterday was hysterical. I am beginning to believe he means it.
That "reporter" should be laughed out of her profession.
Let the pants-crapping at the Chamber of Commerce commence.
This is big for Trump.
Very bad news for GOPe’s.
Do you have a link? I missed it.
Looks like Trump is already stealing Democrat votes. :-)

I watched the whole thing. It was long, but absolutely fantastic. He is going to put up a hell of a fight.
Unfortunately I think he will have the media, the Dems, and the GOPe working against him.
The fact that he is so high in the polls says something about his message.
there is leftwing buzz that Islamocommie & crew are going to give him a full rectal exam on illegal hiring practices.
