Cruise control is a challenge. But so is the turn signals and the washer system, LOL.

And tonight I struggled to find the personal control settings. Son finally came out: you have to turn the car on. AAAAH!

This weekend, two fabled Tennessee classics—the renowned IRWIN Tools Night Race, and the delicious chocolate MoonPie—are crashing together at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) to create a new Levy Restaurants specialty food item: the MoonPie Burger.

Available for the first time this Friday and Saturday, the burger takes the graham cracker, marshmallow and chocolate flavor of MoonPie and combines it with the smoky, savory taste of two fresh, seasoned, ground chuck burgers topped with homemade candied hickory bacon, caramelized onions and crunchy dill pickle slices.

"Everyone expects a burger with a bun. We wanted to do the unexpected," said Chef Jeremiah Clement with Levy Restaurants. "These two hometown favorites might sound like an odd combination, but everyone who's tried it has been enthusiastic."

Following a taste test in the newsroom of WJHL-TV in Johnson City, Tenn., the consensus posted on the company's Facebook page was "tastes yummy!" One producer at the news station added that the MoonPie Burger is "a salty, sweetie, meaty concoction of goodness."

Adventurous eaters are also encouraged to try the new Pimento Cheese Burger. It's a lip-smacking ground chuck burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions, topped with a jalapeno pimento cheese for a southern kick.

Both burgers are priced at only $6.00 and will make their debut this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. Guests can find the new menu items on sale in the Allison grandstand area, immediately inside and to the right of Gate 15. Get there quick, though; only 1,000 MoonPie Burgers are available
