Serena Williams slugged her way to a sixth Wimbledon singles title Saturday morning, completing her second so-called "Serena Slam" and positioning herself for tennis history.
The 33-year-old American defeated Garbine Muguruza of Spain, 6-4, 6-4, to win her fourth consecutive Grand Slam tournament, beginning with last year's U.S. Open and including this year's Australian and French open titles. She accomplished a similar sweep in 2002-2003.
Williams is now poised to equal some of the greatest marks in tennis six weeks from now at the U.S. Open in New York

I am completely shocked NBC called her an "American" instead of "African American"...
I thought they knew better...someone is getting a nice little talking too...
I mean how can the MSM not use an opportunity to bring race into the conversation...?
To be fair, Bruce Jenner is a lot older than her.
I am not making any accusations, but one has to wonder given her emotional outbursts on the court.
I’m not a big fan of either of the sisters, but it’s hard to ignore their (especially Serena’s) dominance. They live a few miles from here and years ago we would hear little blurbs of parties or them acting up. Last 10 years - not a peep.
I think they just work harder (and probably take HGH) than everyone else.

If she wins this years US Open I think she’ll have a slam in the same calendar year.

The ITF DOESN’T WANT TO KNOW if she’s using. It’s too big a story and NOBODY will ever investigate how dirty tennis has gotten. Probably started back with Navratalova then onto a lot of other male and female players who make cycling look like a purity camp. It’ll come out eventually, somebody will spill their guts and I just hope I’m around when it happens. This will make baseball look good.

BS. She is blessed with nice genetics and works hard.
Sharapova shot up to 6’2” in her early teen years. Her arms hang almost to her knees. Neither of her parents are nearly that tall. Likely an HGH case. Unclear that she’s juicing now - doesn’t appear to have the muscle mass, acne, ‘roid rages, etc. that characterize Williams. Although she is/was hirsute; laser or electrolysis may have taken care of that. Plus Williams has clobbered her 18x in a row.
And that shrieking - she’s unwatchable.
