CBS this morning had a segment devoted to (soon to be fired) Major Garrett's intolerant questioning of POTUS.
In the Segment, Charlie Rose was upset and aske Garrett if he would like to take make his question as clearly it was way out of line with the networks approach to throw softballs.
Garrett, sweating under the krieg lights said no, he asks tough questions becuase it's his job, to which Rose sneered in disapproval.
Then Gayle snipped, well did you get the answer you wanted. Garrett responded, that's not up to him, it's up to the American people - to which the disgusted hosts ended the interview feely satisfied they dressed down Garrett and set him up to be fired.
Typing too quickly, should be "asked Garrett if he would like to take back his question...."
Major probably would have done better for himself staying at Fox.
I remember when Dan Rather asked the 1st Pres Bush tough questions one time, and was outright rude and disrespectful to him. Libs did not think anything of it - part of the job
I bet he quits CBS when he gets called into the CEO's office for a scolding and told to stop asking hard questions of their lib freinds.
The Question should have been, “Why did you not include the release of 4 Americans in the deal?”
Clearly, our side was intimidated and scared sh*tless with the negotiations. I think the Iranians threatened Kerry, and he swallowed it.

Garrett has been declared an apostate for daring to question Their Lord And Savior, The Obama, The Messiah, The Won.
And he did it during the Call To Worship (aka presser).
I agree, and he’s a much better reporter than Ed Doughboy Henry.
Rose couldn’t contain his bias this morning, hey, that could be the new name of the show - CBS BIAS THIS MORNING
When quoting the candidates capiagn filings he just quoted the number for all candidates, except of course Hillary.
Here, Rose felt compelled to use the campaign talking points and said - Over HALF of Hillarys donations were from women. Way to go Charlie, keep the story line going for “the first woman president” campaign theme becuase she won’t win on her lack of accomplishments.
If the left wing mediots had done their job, those Americans would have been free and out of Iran.
Yep, the only thing missing was if Charlie handed him a dunce cap and mad him hold a sign on the sidewalk saying he was sorry.
They are being told not to spend too much time on Obama's lack of interest in getting them back, he doesn't want to make Iran angry.
Garrett should have responded, “No, I would have preferred to hear a comprehensible answer to it.”
What is this CBS of which you speak?
If fired he should join up with Sharyl Attkisson and begin investigative reporting to take down CBS.
I know, I know - but I like to be reminded just how contempable the leftist biased media is.
It was a shame he didn’t frame the question around Bo Bergdahl (another ‘lost to the media non-reporting’):
“You indicated during the Bo Bergdahl controversy, that, quote, ‘...the U.S. does not leave a man behind’. We currently have 4 Americans...”
