That is why Bush or Perry can't win. I only see these skills in Cruz, Fiorina, and Trump.
Once again - I'm not a supporter - but to get elected, people need these skills.
You are so right. Most candidates are playing to not-lose, not make mistakes and hoping the other candidate does make mistakes and loses because of it.
If we want candidates who play to win, then we need to support the candidates when they take a risk and go on offense.
The candidates give us what they think we want. And the candidates think that way because we, the voters do in fact act that way.
In my fantasy I see Cruz with Trump's voice and style.

There’s another line of thinking to attack Tapper’s question also.
Mr. Tapper, I’m going to answer this question from a woman’s perspective, and I’m not trying to one-up you because you’re a man, but most men admit that we’re hard to figure out, so I’m going to utilize some information that most men won’t be aware of.
First, if we have here a pregnant woman who wishes to abort her child, here are some things that have to have occurred prior to her becoming pregnant in the first place. She has to have had sex with a man. She has to have had unprotected sex with a man. She has to have had unprotected sex with a man, with whom she wishes not to have a child.
Trust me, she’s worried about the possibility of being pregnant the very next day. Or worse, she’s not worried at all, because there’s always abortion.
For those of us who are pro-life, we only see cruelty here. We only see crass disregard for a living, feeling child in Hillary Clinton’s position that the time limit to actually do something runs all the way up to the time when the baby leaves the hospital with the mother.
We reward stupid decisions, that is, failing to utilize contraceptives, having sex with a man with whom one wishes not to have a child, and then procrastinating, all the while a zygote becomes a fetus, a fetus becomes a baby, in the womb. Who can argue the farther into the term the more pain for the aborted baby?
So I ask you, why do Hillary and other proponents of abortion believe good is going to accrue to society somehow by engendering and fostering lazy thinking, poor personal hygiene, poor decisions, and procrastination in our citizens?
Carly was doing well, right up to the point she condemned Trump. She has some make up to do.
Fiorina is very good and I like her a lot - although I dismissed her at first. I don’t know why people here hate her so much. I’m glad Rush said something.
Amen to all that! You are, unfortunately, describing a huge section of our fertile population. They want be able to stick their fingers into electric sockets without consequence.
