Do you know anyone who is supporting Jeb Bush? (vanity)

I get that the big-money Chamber of Commerce boys are supporting Jeb. And I get that he's a favorite of the status-quo GOPe politicians. But do any of you have any Joe Sixpack friends who are supporting Jeb?

Just curious.

Out of about 60 regulars, all but about 3 are fired up about Donald Trump, White, Black & Hispanic.

Interesting, very interesting.

Not only does nobody support Jeb or hillary, nobody likes them. That’s why if its Jeb vs hillary vs 3rd party Trump, Trump will win.

The question brings up a really good point. The establishment doesn’t seem to need any individuals to support their man, at least at the beginning of his campaign.

Vote third party on election day rather than not voting or voting early or by mail or filling in a write-in. If you don’t walk in and vote for a candidate on the ballot, there are too many ways to hijack your vote.

Yes, a conservative ex-cop who used to work Gov. Bush’s security detail.
I’m working on him, though...

No. I am in North Florida voted for all 3 bushes twice already. Never ever again. Never even a vegetation name again. Heard some local talk radio the other day and the locals are furious with jebby and the leadership.
I have no idea who they are polling.
When Rubio did his 8 gang thing I told them to take me off all their lists and they did. Never a Rubio again.

No, which is another reason why I don’t get the overwrought fear of him on this site by so many people.

Most of the people where I work are libs. I am one of a few conservatives. I don’t know anyone actually supporting Jebster among the nominal republicans, but I have heard “he’d be better than Hillary”. So, while no one is supporting him, they’ll still hold their nose and vote for him if he’s the nominee. I’m the only one here who says “No Jeb, no way”.

I don’t know a single person.
Not one.

And that tells me something important - very important!

ALL THE SO CALLED POLLS ARE FRAUDULENT.

All of them. Every damn one of them.

Some allege that what Bush is doing is more than squeezing through a fundraising loophole, arguing his behavior is flat-out illegal. The liberal American Democracy Legal Fund this week filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against the ex-governor’s super PAC, alleging it is breaking campaign finance laws by coordinating directly with Bush.

Up With Steve Kornacki, 4/26/15, 8:19 AM ET

Is Jeb Bush struggling?

“Bush’s motivation for failing to declare his candidacy is to skirt the prohibition on federal candidates raising soft money. By failing to declare himself a ‘candidate,’ he takes the position that he can fundraise for Right to Rise super PAC, Inc. without violating the law,” the complaint says. It adds that Bush “triggered” candidate status several months ago when he began traveling the country to raise money in excess of what would be reasonably expected for someone who is merely considering running.

Ben Ray, a spokesman for ADLF, said “it is clear this is the mechanism [Bush] is using to escape campaign finance law and he needs to be held accountable for it,” asking, “On what planet do we need $10, $20, $30 million for someone who is just thinking about running?”

FEC Spokeswoman Julia Queen verified receipt of the complaint but said the commission was prohibited from discussing any aspects of an open case.

Several experts said the likelihood that the FEC would take any action before the next election cycle is unlikely. “The FEC’s wheels turn very slowly … If we do see any action, it will likely be after the [2016] election,” said Hasen.

Also the composition of the FEC – made of six committee members split along party lines – matters. “If there’s a 3-3 split, that means no action is taken and they close the case,” said Scott Thomas, a former FEC chairman and Democrat. The three conservatives, Thomas said, would likely cite First Amendment rights and be “hesitant to find anything that will be a violation of the law.”

Yes, I know plenty of people who are supporting Jeb.

I live in Florida, and a lot of people are still pleased with how he served as Governor. He cut taxes and shrank the state's payroll.

I'm not supporting him, as I have serious concerns about his electability.
