I'm excited. I really like CJF's energy and the coming recruiting classes will give him all he needs. I give him an X and O pass for last year. He played tOSU to double OT w/ 46 scholarship players and a 10 point spread administered by the refs. But alas.
My top 5:
1) tOSU
2) USC
3) Georgia
4) LSU
5) MSU
I think the team which will surprise this year is Oklahoma State.
They have a Soph QB who looked like a future star when he played in the last 3 games last year as a true Freshman.
They seem to be improved in most other areas too.
I’m more excited about Harbaugh and Michigan this year than I am for Florida.
Auburn and Alabama and some other SEC teams.
Auburn
Alabama
Arkansas
Georgia
LSU
1) tOSU
2) USC
3) Georgia
4) LSU
5) MSU
I think that's a very good prediction and it comes close to what I hear on sportsradio. My only input is that I think Georgia will be very, very good and I'd alter the ordering somewhat to go like this:
1). Dawgs 2). The dotted i 3). Tigguz 4). Meatchicken State 5). U$C
I just hope Troy can get out of the bottom 10.
At one time Troy was respected as a small school who consistently hit above their weight. A couple of years ago, the bottom dropped out.
Go Ducks!
The Occidental College Tigers travel up to Puget Sound for their opener, but I think they can handle the Loggers, whom we beat last year.
However, two weeks later, Pacific University (not to be confused with the University of the Pacific) will be heading down from Forest Grove, Ore. to the slopes of Fiji Hill to entertain us for our home opener. The Boxers were 6-3 last year, but here’s hoping the Oxy Tigers will rise to the occasion and make them roll over and heel.
The big game will be on Halloween against the Pomona Sage Hens, our archrivals since the days when President Grover Cleveland was in his second term. Last year, the Tigers blew out the Chickens 41-17, so here’s hoping we can extend the streak.
tOSU as PSU was suffering scholarship sanctions (OSU 3 years x3; PSU x 5). Imagine what Urban Meyer is going to do with a full his first full recruiting class and the stacked high talent. I know the SeC gets most of the talent, but Urban proved he can out coach Sabin who must have gotten lazy with all his prior recruiting talent to rely upon to win.
It’s gonna be a very depressing year for my West Virginia Mountainers.
Too funny anyone that has U$C anywhere near the top five. Their OL is avg., they lost their No. 1 RB, whom knew better to stay around for his Senior year. They have a good not great SR. Qb (compare his stats, patsy Teams vs good ones) with very good Receivers.
Their Defense will be worst than last year when they got run up by a number of a Teams. But the number one reason is they placed their faith in another highly over rated Pete Carrol reject asst. Coach. El Siete Sarkisian ALWAYS loses at least one game a year that his Teams need only to show up to win, yet doesn’t. This clown was a WSU loss away from being fired at UDUB in 2013, yet that Notre Dame loving lush of an AD hired him anyway. But when all the top flight Coaches wanted nothing to do with SUC, whatcha gonna do?
FSU vs OSU in the Prison Bowl.
(was a big FSU fan but Jameis Winston cured me)
