Enough Is Enough: Petition Stared To Ban Megyn Kelly from Hosting Further Debates
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com ^ | 8/7/2015 | Jim Hoft

Conservative viewers last night were very offended at Megyn Kelly’s antics during the Republican FOX News debate.

Twitter exploded with attacks on Kelly and FOX News for the constant attacks on the Republican candidates. Here is just one example: Twitter quote at link.

Now there is an online petition to bar Megyn Kelly from future GOP debates.

Here is the petition to News Corp:

“ Dears News Corps.,

Megyn Kelly apparently finds the state of our union amusing and “fun”, whereas the viewers (our fellow citizens) deserve a much more serious moderator.

In addition, she had a clear agenda to attack Donald Trump, by tenaciously clinging to his past rather than his vision for the future. She focused on Trump personally, rather than politically. Ultimately, she did not not live up to the “fair and balanced” slogan at Fox News and News Corporation.

While her disdain for Mr. Trump was evident, this peititon is a call for truly fair and balanced coverage of ALL candidates. Thus, Megyn Kelly should be barred from hosting or moderating all future Republican Presidential Debates.

Please support this position by signing it as well as adding your reasons to bar Megyn Kelly from hosting or moderating any future Republican Debates (she is better of hosting a Democratic Debate at this unprofessional level).

Sincerely, (Your Name)

Good. Megyn would be happier with the girls on The View, I suspect. They would better appreciate her “talent”.

Months ago, the "too-cute-by-half" and overly-dramatized attitude adopted by Megyn began to overcome the formerly attractive, constitutionally knowledgeable and powerful communications abilities which had made Megyn seem to be a trustworthy and credible "purveyor" of news and analysis.

The giddy personality which preceded and participated in the Fox debate preparation and presentation was almost sophomoric and regrettable. Hopefully, she will take the criticisms seriously and return to her former demeanor, accompanied by some sense of humility. She is really better than that!

I said during the debate last night that Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow could not come up with more insulting questions.

Fox took a major hit last night.

I’m sort of wondering what Hannity, who got bumped to a later time slot by Kelly, really thinks of all this...not that he can say much - unfortunately.

Actually, I thought Megyn was biased, unprofessional and snarky, not only to Trump, but also to Cruz.

Fox News Channel understood that last night was an opportunity to reach a larger audience and possibly convince that audience that they aren't shills for the Republican Party.

Sadly, they went too far and damaged their credibility with their current viewership. The attitude of all of the moderators, not just Kelly, was unprofessional, but she was by far the worst.

> Have you ever tried to convince a NYC liberal? They’re not the brightest bulbs on the circuit, you know.

Are any of them really? I’d bet the West Coast libwrals are probably worse though. Seems to be heavier drug use in those areas. Liberal + drugs; not a good combo.

Regardless of what people on conservative sites think, her performance was viewed by the largest audience in cable history to watch a non-sports event and the largest audience ever to watch Fox News. For many of those viewers, it was their first exposure to Megyn Kelly and I would argue that many of them went away with a positive perception (’brilliant’, ‘beauty and brains’, ‘tough questions’, etc).

Overall I believe it will be a net gain for FNC and a feather in Megyn’s cap.

How she deals with the criticism will say a lot about her. Will she dismiss the criticism or take it to heart and work to re-establish her credibility? I wouldn’t be on the latter. Success has gone to her head and she clearly fancies herself as an important TV personality who is entitled to pass judgment on others instead of facilitating meaningful discussions. Humility was a long time ago for her.

Sorry, I won’t give her the satisfaction of that much attention. I just simply won’t watch.

Throwing temper tantrums and putting up petitions like whiny liberals.

Yesterday they crowed he was unflappable and now their whining and gnashing their teeth.

lolol

this was tame in comparison of how its going to be

There is a prayer that seems somewhat fitting regarding fanatics.

“Jesus save me from your followers, Amen”.

Fox took a major hit last night.

***************
It was a self-inflicted wound that cut deep. And they had better get that treated before gangrene sets in.

True!

The moderators treated it like a sports event. They were shallow, flippant, and disrespectful.

I will not watch another FOX-sponsored debate.

At the beginning of the 10 guy debate, each one was asked a question that related to his weakness. Therefore the first question was set up for Trump, not the others - would he leave and campaign as an independent? That question was necessary to be asked.

The next question for him was asking how he would relate to women since he has called them various names - and the names were said. It doesn’t matter who ask him the question but it was Kelly. Trump has a foul mouth when speaking of women and voters need to know that.

Getting mad at the questioners usually means your candidate did not fare well so you get mad at the questions ask and the persons asking them.

Each man was asked pointed questions based on actions he has taken, and what he has said. Seemed fair to me.
