Trump - because they went after him, this horrendously backfired and he benefited Cruz - Came across well, looked the most competent Carson - Understated, he appeared very genuine and connected Fox News - Ratings through the roof Chris Christie - Didn't win much, but performed better than the other establishment stooges. Marco Rubio - May benefit mildly from the massive pimping job performed by the Fox crew.
Debate Losers:
Rand Paul - Completely bombed. Somehow got bested by Blimp Christie, attacks on Trump fell as flat as the hosts'. His campaign is finished. Scott Walker - WHERE WAS HE?! Jeb Bush - Usual boring platitude crap from the mega RINO. Awful answer on Commie Core Megyn Kelly - Bimbo moron attacked religious liberty, attacked Trump in an underhanded way, looked like a narcissist. Grab some candy and become the next Candy Crowley.
Kasich and Huckabee did very little but heighten awareness about their own stupid campaigns. Cuckabee is being overstated by the media.
I also want to mention Charlie Krauthammer, the doofus who is supposed to be some kind of intellectual. I am CONVINCED he is being paid by the Rubio campaign or a shell amnesty organization. Glenn Beck has also heaped praise on Kelly. Same old garbage! She is a RAT!

If you check out the different conservative sites online, who did the best differs from site to site. I think that things are very unsettled, and I have no idea who will be leading six months from now.

Well...at least Trump should have pointed out the inappropriateness of some of the questions before even answering them. Many folks (including me) see a lot of positive in Trump's aggressiveness. I hope that reappears going forward.

Bill Mahar made a personal attack on Palin simply because Palin was Palin. Trump should have been more in-your-face forceful with Kelly. Not because Kelly is Kelly, but because of the complete inappropriateness of some of her questions. There is a difference here.
There’s a world of distance between a ‘’bimbo’’ & the c word- the latter being a filthy word that many/ most people with ‘’bad mouths’’ won’t even utter.

Prior to 4 months ago, name ONE thing that Donald Trump has done that clearly establishes a sincerely held conservative belief.
In all fairness to Fox, all of them come from a place where Christy is a firebrand conservative. They really have no clue.
Personally, I was disappointed with Trump in the debates, I had hoped for more. I think all of this might have taken him by surprise because he certainly hasn't spent a lot of time learning about other issues. If Cruz was higher in the polls, I wouldn't even give Trump a second look. I am sure Trump is an extremely smart guy and will know that he must surround himself with great people in order to pull this off.

Agreed. But just because some hack at MSNBC could have asked that twitter question doesn't mean that Kelly had to ask it the way she did
. It could have been asked a hundred different ways. Kelly asked it the most demeaning way possible. She deserved a much harder slapdown than she actually got.

Here I agree also. But I guess we differ on the phrasing. Of course Maher attacked Palin because of her political views. But it was an attack on her personally, without provocation. What did Palin do to Maher deserve that? Nothing. Palin did not fire the first shot.
The Kelly situation is different. Kelly made a deliberate attempt to smear Trump. Not to question him, but to smear him. Kelly fired the first shot.

She deserved a much harder slapdown than she actually got.
I actually thought Trump won the point onstage. That’s why I am so angry that he went back to Twitter afterwards to make this stupid comment.
I agree on your second point also, but why not call Kelly a hack, liberal, dummy even? Why go back and use the very ammunition she just tried to use against you to prove her point.
If he had done that, I might have thought it was unhelpful to the campaign, but chocked it up to Trump being Trump.
I come from and old school where Chivalry still means something. Even if it had been Couric involved, calling her a bimbo is off limits, besides air head works better. :)
