The other guy ought to up a sign that says
“House For Sale——My neighbor lets her dogs bark day and night”
Raffle it off. $100 per ticket. Heck, I’d buy one and I really don’t need another house.
My guess is that they are not really in interested in selling their house, it’s just a way of poking a stick in the eye of the neighbor. Might work on that level.
When my neighbor’s dog barked only when they were gone, he didn’t believe the dog barked at all, and wouldn’t take any action.
So I sprayed the dog with a garden hose every time he barked. Shut him up in about 45 minutes, forever.
Owner was pissed. I didn’t care.
“All he had to do was come over (to talk to us), but he chose not to do that.”
They ALL say that. Until you go over and talk to them. That’s when they get nasty, start swearing, brandish a firearm, and tell you to “Get off my lawn”.

I think a more accurate sign would read: “House for sale by owner because I am a douchebag!”
Well,we all probably have at least one neighbor that fits the description.
That said, this will help him sell his home, how, exactly?
We moved from our house in Ventura county partly because our white trash neighbors were impossible to live next to with the constant partying, etc.
Eventual buyers (biomedical professional couple) asked if neighbors were quiet. My wife told a white lie that they were, mostly.....
Poor people only lasted a couple years before they sold at a loss. I hope they were not too honest about the trash living nest door.
Neighbors reply:

Stupid Yahoo News posted this article with a photo. But the “douchebag” lettering on the sign was illegible, and never once in the article did that use the word. So very politically correct, Yahoo News. So stupid.
I actually signed on to FR just now to find out what “the word” is. Not even a swearword. Oh my.
