That was fun to watch. I could only do about 30 minutes though out of 6 hours.
I wish the guy posting would have done a little editing. Maybe take out commercials, and local coverage. Even commercials were fun though.
I loved how much time they had to spend on the B/W TV issue. I was 16 at the time, and we had just gotten our first color TV.
Watching tonight on a 65” Plasma, even keeping it in the Youtube box, it was bigger than the TV we had back then.
Great memories.
It was 35 years ago but watching some of that coverage, it seemed much longer than that. The graphics and studio looked so primitive.

My unit was in the field in Germany and it was cold as hell.The 1st sgt came by and told us that RR had won.It didn’t seem as cold after that.
Good thing I wasn’t at my grandparents. My grandmother was a rabid leftist who hated anything Republican. She used to subject me to vicious anti-Reagan diatribes any time I visited. She helped make me a Conservative. ;-D
