I heard about two diff protest this past week. PP protests, people protesting that it should be de-funded, and something called FREE THE NIPPLE? topless protests? women protesting that they should be able to walk around topless. Is that honestly such a thing that is deemed essential? we are doomed.

I heard of that as well. It’s never the ones who should be freeing the nipple who actually want to. Few state states have laws that don’t allow people to bare their hooters anyway.
And yeah, PP should be defunded.

It sounds like a great plan. I start watching a little girl tomorrow. Her mother was my daughter’s best friend growing up, she was relieved to find me. Her mother works part time and takes her the other days of the week. I get her for only two. It is a great compromise. I am looking forward to it, although 6:15am sounds awfully early. Her mom and grandmother are both nurses, and her mom will finish her NP degree in May. She will make a great NP. I get to help her over the last year by watching Annabelle. It will be my pleasure, she is a delight.
I am sure they are thrilled to have you. having a known and beloved person taking care of your baby makes it possible to leave them.
I have heard from xsteen. she was pumping and therefore able to text. she is doing ok. they had a donut breakfast to welcome her back and everyone has been very nice. they said she gipped them out of a baby shower by having him the week before the shower they had planned, so they were having donuts on her return instead.
I am feeling well enough to try going out. I have errands to run. Scary, though. After an episode with a fleet enema all is good....that sorry day is lost forever. The BIL with cancer came home in hospice care, I will now be able to get over there. I plan to bake tomorrow and drop it off. Visits are to be kept short and sweet, so I can manage that for sure. I still fear leaving the close proximity to a bathroom, but my contacts are in at the eye doctor and it would be nice to be able to see again. LOL So, I am off.
Yeah, her mom said as much. She was worried, and she says now she knows exactly where she will be and who she will be with. She spent nearly every other weekend with us for years, since her mom was required to work every other weekend. She was like a second daughter.
Awww, how sweet of her co-workers. It’s a nice distraction for the first day back.
I broke a contact lens in half and need to call to have it replaced, thanks for the reminder! I am half blind in glasses, but was thankful that I had the prescrip sunglasses for the drive in this AM that I got last summer.
