Murdered TV Reporter's Dad Just Vowed to "shame" legislators to pass gun control

Ann Coulter is going to be on the Megyn File....so I tuned in.

The murdered girl's father and boy friend made a joint appearance....they really seemed to be almost comfortable.

Now look, we all mourn differently...yet the two seemed so at ease on the subject. Maybe the shock of what happened has them in a daze. But at the end of the interview, the father vowed to "shame" people into accepting gun control....but he DID speak about guns being kept out of the hands of mentally ill people.

I thought the law already did that.

Now Megyn has a former Obama deputy press secretary on. The guy is clamoring for gun control.....NOT A WORD ABOUT THE MURDERER'S RACISM AND HETEROPHOBIA.

We deserve what we get from FOX and Me-again Kelly, and her twisted guests. I guess her nod to Christian conservatives was the Duggar family. Thanks a lot, MK.

I don’t fault you for curiosity. Kelly sets up roman candles and like passing the proverbial car wreck, we have to stare. But, consider me Megyn Free.

I watched that one segment and then turned it off.....she is almost as bad as MSDNC.

Dispelling the myth of the “wild west”

In his book, Frontier Violence: Another Look, author W. Eugene Hollon, provides us with these astonishing facts:
•In Abilene, Ellsworth, Wichita, Dodge City, and Caldwell, for the years from 1870 to 1885, there were only 45 total homicides. This equates to a rate of approximately 1 murder per 100,000 residents per year.
•In Abilene, supposedly one of the wildest of the cow towns, not a single person was killed in 1869 or 1870.

Zooming forward over a century to 2007, a quick look at Uniform Crime Report statistics shows us the following regarding the aforementioned gun control “paradise” cities of the east:

•DC – 183 Murders (31 per 100,000 residents)
•
Baltimore – 281 Murders (45 per 100,000 residents)
•
Newark – 104 Murders (37 per 100,000 residents)

It doesn’t take an advanced degree in statistics to see that a return to “wild west” levels of violent crime would be a huge improvement for the residents of these cities.

The truth of the matter is that the “wild west” wasn’t wild at all … not compared to a Saturday night in Newark.

If you magically took away all guns, with modern technology, criminals could devise and build their own weapons, and ordinary folks would have no means to defend themselves.

I found that odd too. The guy’s daughter hasn’t been dead for 12 hours yet and he is on TV without tears and he is gonna lean on the legislature for gun control.

I knew this morning when Terry McAwful inserted himself in all this that we were going to see gun control talk coming.

Whoever made the decision to hire Bryce at the TV station is partially responsible for the murders. Given his long history of causing problems in previous jobs he never should have been hired! Makes one wonder if an appropriate background check was ever done? Or was the decision to hire him based on a diversity quota the station was pressured into doing. If I was owner of that station I would thoroughly look into how the decision to hire him was made get ride of whoever made the final decision.

Given the circumstances, their demeanor was very bizarre.

I hope Trump points out that Kelly and Ailes having Jorge on proves they’re trying to take him out. They should have had a reporter from the crowd that was disgusted with Jorge’s actions. Plus Murdoch wants to draft Bloomberg.

II heard his interview....it was more about restrictions and background checks on mentally ill people....

Frankly the Father is yet in shock and hasn’t begun to really grieve.... he’ll say pretty much anything about now.
