A supermoon refers to a full or new moon when it's at its closet point (called the perigee) to Earth in its orbit. The moon can appear up to 30% larger than it's normal size from Earth.

"The first of a trio of supermoons will hang large in the sky Saturday night. The moon will actually reach its fullest point Saturday at 1:35 p.m. CDT -- not prime viewing time. But it still will appear full Saturday night."

It says "the first of three" and then goes on to tell about two.

So when is the third? And why not say in the article?

No, I meant some incredible news stories. French couple dying out in the desert, deputy’s murder and such.

What color is the moon there? Here in Houston it was kind of a pale whitish gray with darker gray spots. Maybe that was due to the hazy sky’s we had yesterday.
