Etymology: "tending to produce sleep," 1680s, from French soporifique (17c.), formed in French from Latin sopor (genitive soporis) "deep sleep" (see sopor ). As a noun from 1722. Earlier as an adjective was soporiferous (1580s as "characterized by excessive sleep," c.1600 as "soporific").

A couple of weeks agho I was on vacation in Ocean City New Jersey, and they get all Philly TV. The popes visit, while more than a month away, received wall to wall coverage. Ugh.

I would like to tell you that those supporting the socialist are folks who have made bad decisions in their lives, or their children have, but I keep seeing all sorts of folks who have done pretty well in life supporting him as well.

We caught a bunch of fish. I was hoping for a nice big striper for the table and freeezer, but we got mostly porgies and black sea bass (both good eating), and a ton of snad sharks, which are throw-backs. My #2 daughter Allie went with us for the first few hours until she got really green looking.
Basically, yes. Upgrades (even though commericals claim the upgrades were done years ago.....they get by with that by updating a very small area) ;^)

yes, our daughter’s in-laws who were here for the baptism of our grandson this weekend are from the Philly area and they said it’s total insanity with all kinds of crap like POPE TOASTERS etc. being hawked. So unseemly and I don’t recall any of that when Benedict was here a few years back. His main visit is to Philly but he is coming here to say a Mass at the Basilica and also to address Congress which is going to be sickening, I know.
The daughter’s inlaws have a beach house in Ocean City, NJ, as a matter of fact.
