My people fought for the Union. I see the Confederate flag as a symbol of treason and separation. It isn't the flag our men and women died defending freedom and vanquishing the genocidal tyrannies of the last century and it isn't the flag they currently serve under. I wouldn't want it banned because it is part of the history of this nation. If it were to be banned it would be as if The Civil War never occurred.
