Munich (dpa) - A week before Munich's Oktoberfest begins, authorities are expressing concern about how the city will cope with the event's expected 6 million visitors, on top of the thousands of refugees currently pouring into the Bavarian capital every day.
Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann called for an increased deployment of federal police to assist local officers.
"If, during the evenings and at the weekend, festival visitors who have had a lot to drink run into as many refugees as we have had in recent days, things could get out of hand," he said.
The annual beer festival, billed as the biggest gathering of its kind in the world, kicks off on Saturday, when Munich Mayor Dieter Reiter ceremonially breaks open the first barrel, and ends on October 4.

A new political alignment is emerging in Germany with the left strongly opposed to admitting more refugees. It will dilute the welfare state and put 60 years of Socialism at risk.
And now, the Conservative backbone of Merkels coalition, the CSU (centered in Bavaria) is also very vocal in opposition.

What happens now with Greece and the other poorer nations of the EU? They've reduced to forever, hopeless debt. Are they supposed to keep paying back their loans to German banks? They're also being burdened by this nightmare created by NATO/globalist warmongering.
I could foresee a situation where Germany tries to get rid of the "refugees" by settling them into poor eastern European countries. The only country that seems to grasp this possibility is Hungary.
Oktoberfest cancelled this year and every year thereafter. The Muslims won’t stand for it.

Having Oktoberfested, let me attest, that is the most accurate portrayal of Oktoberfest I have seen.
