A painted lady says she no longer feels safe posing topless in Times Square after she punched in the face and called a 'nasty wh**e'. Amanda Roman, 23, was attacked by a woman in front of the huge crowds gathered at the New York City landmark. Roman, one of a group of bare-breasted women who have caused controversy in recent weeks, says she 'doesn't feel protected' by police officers stationed in the square.

I dunno. She looks pretty cute. And if all she was doing was standing there, then she is just another part of the Times Square Freak Show that goes on there every day. I used to work in Times Square and would walk by bizarre scenes every day. People trying to call attention to themselves. Some semi-naked. Some preaching. You just learn to ignore it and move on. I bet the woman who punched her was some feminist type.
Yep, she may have to go get a real job.
I’ve heard that they were taking pictures with men, and it was all open and above board and all that.
But it’s hard to believe that these girls were not receiving invitations to go somewhere more private.
It’s not too much a stretch to believe that the girls themselves used the pictures as a “loss leader” to build up to “private meetings” with men. Just a thought.

I’ve never understood the huge deal about public nudity or even seeing people have sex.
It’s natural and something all of us will see in this life.
Industrial warfare, insane violence and torture are perfectly acceptable in public theaters. You can even bring children of any age inside if you are 18.
But show one photo of two people making love to a child and you are a felon sex offender.

The whole of Times Square has become grotesque.
Hippie Punching is not only a fun sport, it has positive social implications as well.
I’m talking about just sex that people in love would have. Not violent or exploitative “pornography”.
Where does this mentality of hiding sex come from? It’s as natural, peaceful and integral to life as eating or sleeping.
If we are putting people in jail for showing things to kids, it should be illegal to show images that glorify industrial warfare, waste and greed. These are the things truly killing humanity, not making love.
I don't know how old your kids are, but trust me -- if they are over 11, they likely have already seen more serious pornography on the Internet than you can imagine.
You really can't stop it. All you can do is help them handle it.
Most 13 year old girls have already seen more penises online than their moms have.
