It’s a little hard to believe Trump is the only person willing to leave his past and personal interests behind and push for what needs to be done. He seems to be looking out for us regular folks with the only ideology being America First. At least more so than the other major candidates.
Who’d a thunk it.

the more Ben Carson, Jeb Bush and that broad talk the more I like Donald Trump.

[Carson said: Its hard to say. I probably, knowing who he was, I probably just would have arrested him.]
He knew who he was? That’s incredible.
If he had gotten out of the street and not gone for the cop’s gun, it probably would have turned out differently. But he assumed, incorrectly, that DW knew he (MB) had just pulled a robbery and committed assault and battery.

Dr. Carson didn’t stumble. He’s like Alan Keyes was a few years back. One issue. Scratch the surface and there’s no “conservative” inside.

This wasn’t a stumble or gaffe. Ben Carson, the “okay” doctor, is showing his true color. It’s good that he revealed his racism early in the primary season. He be down with da stuggle against da man. Goodbye Bennie.

Carson is a good man. He is so low energy ,however, that he makes bush look like an Olympic gymnast. He will fade out. The GOPe will now rally behind Kasich. We must stop Trump from picking Kasich as VP.

The only reason his poll numbers are high, in my opinion, is there are a lot of evangelical voters who don’t like Trump but who have also become aware of what a wasted vote a vote for Huckabee or Santorum would be.

Uh, Ben
again, this time vis-a-vis guest worker status
So you're going to give Mexicorruption the whole enchilada?
Guest workers? Ben, we have a problem
. . . before there could be a guest worker agreement Mexicorruption officials specified that
- there had to be regularization,
- a concept that Foreign Minister Jorge G. Castañeda says must allow Mexican immigrants to
- obtain driver's licenses,
- Social Security cards and
- resident tuition at colleges.
- Mexican officials knew better than to say amnesty.
Castañeda imposed the requirement that
- any comprehensive agreement on border safety and
- guest workers must
- include regularization for illegal workers.
- "It's the whole enchilada, or nothing," Mr. Castañeda said.
From various sources including this 2002 FR thread
Is Carson already a practicing politico to where he can feel that "we'll handle that matter when we get elected. We can count on support from the immigration industry and crony capitalism to silence the people."?

We had a very successful guest worker program for farm workers years. They would come for planting season and leave after the harvest. It only led to massive illegal immigration when housing, food stamps, education, health care, etc., became extraordinary benefits and incentives to stay.
