One problem I see with this article, is it assumes people really need all that space. My 5c 32gig phone has a capacity of 27.3 gig and with 25 apps installed I still 20.9 gig free. For most people that just want a smart phone 16 gig is plenty of RAM.

I use my phone a lot in the boondocks and trips without any connectivity. I want my apps, music library, podcasts, some photos and some videos w me. I recently filled up my 128 GB iPhone 6 Plus and found with most apps there is no way to erase content. You have to delete the app and reinstall it, then reload only the content you want.
Cloud is nice, but I want my content with me everywhere and you most definitely can fill up 128 GB quite easily.
