1) There are three other, much smaller wind turbines on his property. They are not the issue.
2) The one that is an issue is much bigger, and is located about 20-25 feet from his neighbor’s house. It is probably 100 feet from his other neighbor’s house
3) These are high priced, closely spaced houses located on Lake Minnetonka (wealthy neighborhood)
4) The issue is over the noise they make and the lightening that they draw.
5) It appears that the Gadsden flag is attached to one of the smaller turbines. Possible revenge against the Tea Party.
It isn’t clear how the turbine affects the foundation of his house
Ah the snoot factor outweighs the green factor. Be thou green, but not when it annoys me.
So to take it down and disguise the place it was installed should make everyone happy? Not this group of weed up their rear snooties.
Drawing the lightning to the house and away from the neighbors sounds like a good thing for the rest of the neighborhood.
That complaint must have a been a liberal logic thing...
If I owned a home on Minnetonka (expensive place on the shore) I would be mad as can be if someone put up a noisemaker. I had neighbors with wind chimes making noise 24/7 when I lived in Golden Valley (about 15 miles from that lake). I hate wind chimes!
