Why Donald Trump is the new Ronald Reagan

Someone finally listened. I’ve been searching for the new Ronald Reagan to make America great again. I’ve argued in my past four books and hundreds of commentaries that taxes are too damn high on America’s risk-takers, job creators and business owners. I’ve pleaded for a dramatic, Reaganesque tax cut to supercharge the economy and create millions of new jobs.

I’ve been searching for a president who would reward the economic engine of America (small business) and reward the people who value work ethic, personal responsibility and rugged individualism over cradle-to-grave government dependency. That was how Reagan created the greatest economic expansion in world history — by incentivizing the only people who matter to an economy: the business owners, financial risk-takers and job creators.

By God, I think we just found our new Reagan. His name is Donald Trump, and his tax plan is Reagan squared.

Yes. And does he ever do nice work! Last evening I spent about 30 minutes on the Trump Brand website, following many of the links, and viewing videos of Don, Jr., Ivanka and Eric, each describing how they worked as kids, and were worked and blended into the Trump Brand Team.

Then I followed many of the links to the many and various Trump holdings. Jaw-dropping! One pleasant surprise was to learn that there are several high end, prestgious properties which bear the Trump name, that were not built by Trump and never were owned by him. One of such is the fabulous Trump Hotel in Waikiki, HI. At the bottom of the description of the property there is a disclaimer, stating that this was not built, nor ever owned by Trump; but that the named corporation that owns and operates it pays a licensing fee to use the Trump Brand Name, and that (implied) that their continued use of that Brand Name is contingent upon that corporation’s aherence to the high standards set by Trump.

The cherry on top was while having my devotions this morning, which included thanking and praising God for all His creations.....like Ringneck and Golden Pheasants, and Elk, and People, and Elephants, and Humpback Whales, and Macaws, and Finches, and Mule Deer, and Mocking Birds......and Donald John Trump. Thank you, Lord, for raising up Donald Trump. Now THERE’S A PIECE OF WORK! Praise Jesus!

I really like how Trump is shaking up the status quo. He speaks his mind. How refreshing!

Unlike other politicians, he knows how to run an organization. Most can’t run anything but their mouths.

But, while I like the simplicity of his tax plan, I believe EVERYONE should pay taxes (or not have a vote).

Good article. I hope Trump sees and seriously considers on thing:

Obama is bankrupting us with higher prices. Hint, hint, Donald: Please give us a plan for dramatically cutting Obama’s regulations next

That goes hand in hand along with higher taxes to stifle business, innovation and expansion and therefore creating jobs. Businesses right now have to shell out so much in taxes and keeping up with regulations they can’t do anything but hope they can survive.

If Trump manages to win, I knew before I read this his tax plan would bring jobs back, no doubt about it. If he goes after regulations too, and I think he will, he knows it’s a problem, we’ll see another booming economy in no time.

He’s seen the effect of regulations on his own business, he knows the cost, and if he’s good at one thing, it’s keeping cost down. There’s no other way to build a $10 billion business.

I saw mention of building the world trade center. I think that comment was right, it reminded me of an ice skating rink in new York. Several years overdue and several million over budget, Trump offered to build it by Christmas. He finished 2 months ahead of schedule and under budget by something like $750,000. (May have been $75,000 I can’t remember.) Anyway a respectable amount.

Why would he run the government any other way? Cut excess spending, (I’ll bet you a klondike bar that’s on his agenda too) cut taxes, cut regulations and keep things at or below budget, and on time or you’re fired.

I want his phone number so I can call him once a week and just say GO Donald Go...

I have never understood why abortion is a “women’s issue,” when HALF of those killed by abortion are male.

Some people say that, since only women can get pregnant, only women can have a valid opinion about abortion.

Since only slave-owners have slaves, that means that the only people who can have a valid opinion on slave-owning are slave-owners, right?

I know, but I was just explaining my own view of things.

You’re right, though. :D

Off topic here but a recent tweet: Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump 31 minutes ago

I was so happy when I heard that @Politico, one of the most dishonest political outlets, is losing a fortune. Pure scum!

He tells it like it is.
