Thanks Obama for the fine for not having insurance
Because the the plan I had that was 398.00 a month for my family only increased to 1400.00 a month in 2014
So I chose not to pay 1400.00 a month  So got a nice little fine
Thanks for the affordable care act.
Thanks for making it so affordable!!

Repeal is far from enough.

... the plan I had that was 398.00 a month for my family only increased to 1400.00 a month in 2014. So I chose not to pay 1400.00 a month.

And now we see the idiocy of this stupid ObamaCare law. Even when his premiums were only $398/month they were still more than 2x the cost of the ObamaCare fine levied by the IRS.

A premium of $1,400/month translates to almost $17,000 for the year ... which is about seven times the cost of the fine.

With all this in mind, even a person who can afford to pay these insurance premiums would do well to cancel the coverage and just pay the fine. What kind of moron came up with this idea?

Yep, and they are more worried about their crony corporate donor class than they are about the American people. Why do they care if John Q. Public can’t afford to care for his family, as long as there is a lobbyist willing to plop down $300.00 for a steak.

I think mrsmel has the “one who can see” tagline.

One could claim such were methods for eliminating an older population that might not go along with propaganda and lies.

But then, that just might be a nut-job conspiracy worthy of tinfoil. So I better ping Nully.

ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber said Tuesday he regrets saying that the health care law was written in a way that took advantage of the “the stupidity of the American voter,” adding he spoke “inappropriately.”

I know, but it isn’t cold enough to hang ‘windchimes’ from lamp posts yet.

I don’t have a choice, I have Leukemia and I want to keep my Doctor. I’m not changing Horses in the middle of Chemo.

Smart. My friend got "lucky" if you can call it that, and his chemo ended just as they were going to force him to switch. He's doing well since then, but every two months he has to battle with Covered California and the provider to stay on his plan.

What are the odds that he voted for Obama, twice?

$1900/month? Platinum? No deductible?

Regrets about the Leukemia, FRiend.

Anthem totally #ed doctor participation the first year. I had to pay out of pocket for the kids’ pediatrician. The doctor was cool and helped us out. A relatively young doctor. He recently left the vocation. I’m hoping to find out why. He’s an intelligent, thoughtful man. And he worked closely with us during years of respiratory complications.

And I discovered I had diabetes shortly after Crapcare began. Couldn’t see my doctor because of Crapcare. I’ve been flying solo since “hoping” I’m managing correctly.

Yeah, I’m quite bitter about the Leftist BS.

Well - except then they wouldn’t have insurance. Although I really should look into that. Except then I’m not even covered for catastrophic. That’s all I ever wanted. Low premiums and a high deductible just to cover the really bad stuff. Now paying 4x as much, with fewer benefits.

And it will end up being like SS - even “conservative” republicans won’t do anything about it.

Not sure what Mr Miller meant by ‘family’, but if there are kids, curious about their coverage.

Oh, so THAT’S why they have to have taxpeasant-paid gunthugs in their IRS Taxpayer “NonAssistance” Centers...

The point is the person has to pay an increased premium of 1400.00 a month or pay the 2300.00 fine for no insurance nothing, nada. It is crap that they have no insurance because that cant afford the new payment but they have to pay a penalty.

I don’t see how they can force you to pay money for nothing.

John Roberts and Obama are both a holes.

the shared responsibil;ity payment is less than half the original insurance premium of $398 per month ... does it include health care? a bargain if it does, not to much if it doesn’t
