Hmmmm... Wonder when someone is going to cut a message to the liberal leftists and illegal immigrants on their land so it shows up on satellite view?

I haven’t had my coffee, but I don’t see the significance of your post?
This is a man made area of trees.

Just thought it was interesting that someone would cut such large letters like that on their land, that’s all. Haven’t seen that before. I mean, what do you want me to do, report myself to the PC Police for pointing something out? Was thinking other pertinent messages could be cut in the woods, especially messages directed at liberal leftists.

it might be a large ranch and the owner's last name spelled out so it could be seen from orbit. The very wealthy can be eccentric at times.

All due respect Mene, this wasn’t a complaint......
So I Googled it.....and sure enough the owner cut it himself
I have family in this area, so therefore my interest.

Was typing fast. Slow news day, huh? lol Each letter is right at 2500 feet tall. It’s cut in the woods. Someone went to a LOT of trouble to do that.

They even cut around the letters, rather than cutting the letters out.

From the NASA journal: “By clearing forest so that a pattern would be visible to landing aircraft, a landowner...created a target that is also useful for evaluating spatial resolution of astronaut photographs. The forest was selectively cleared in order to spell the landowner’s name ‘LUECKE’ with the remaining trees”

Interesting oddity, and a diversion, half-way through my first cup of coffee, I dialed back through Google Earth and caught before and after. Nice country, though it may be too close to the lunatic colony in Austin for some folk's taste. The name fits that of the wide-ranging German families that settled mostly just to the west of there, beginning almost two centuries ago.
Nice diversion from the wildfires of rumors, lies and panic. Thanks.

It was very fitting of your phone to insert that bit of humor.
