McDonald's franchisees believe the brand is in a "deep depression" and could be facing its "final days," according to a new survey.
"We are in the throes of a deep depression, and nothing is changing," one franchisee wrote in response to the survey by Nomura analyst Mark Kalinowski. "Probably 30% of operators are insolvent."

I don't even so much as burp unless I get a volcano taco doused in Fire sauce. But after all the years of eating like that, I think I may have done some damage. I gotta go in for a colonoscopy Wednesday, and I can just imagine what the butt doctor is gonna find in there. Might make for a good SyFy movie. LOL

Same here - love McDonald’s.
Was in one last weekend and the place was busy. Actually waited 15 minutes for my order which is odd for them.
There was a McDonalds not far from where I loved in Greenville. Place was spotless, people very friendly and the good excellent.
But I think I was the only person in Greenville that ordered iced coffee.

Love their fries. And as awful as it is, love their Big Mac.

Funny you should mention burger king. I swear anyone who can finish a whopper either has no taste buds or has a death wish.

The best American franchise burger chain is Wendy’s. The 3/4 lb hot and juicy is just fine if it is freshly cooked. If it comes too fast, it has been sitting. The best way to order it is to make it complicated so they have to make it fresh. It is like ordering fries without salt...then have them give you salt packages. Fries are fresh that way.

It’s not any unhealthier than all the other fast food places (Panera, and the like).

The gays may only be 2% of the population but they have voracious appetites.

They built their brand on 15 cent hamburgers. Exploding price of beef killed them.Went by last week, and a Big Mac is approaching $5 At these price points, I don't expect them to stay viable too long.

Other burger chains sell better food for similar prices. Why go to McDonalds? Five Guys hamburgers are exponentially better than McDonalds ... the price between the two is anything but similar.

I warned them in advance. And my wife already mapped the closest fire exit. I just hope for their sake, they make sure the general fully kicks in before someone yells "Up, periscope!", or it may get ugly.

I think their number 1 problem is food taste. They don’t taste as good as they used to when they changed recipe
