Odd Character Replacement in some articles

It is a problem here at FR only it seems. I think they are trying to find out what the change was that caused this.

I wonder if it was something done trying to do something about the Google related StopBadware stuff about links to “badlist” sites that may be or have been on FR.

Still happening and yes, it started after the "malware" scare.

My guess is that John cleared up the scare but something he did is resulting in our readers screwing up quotes and apostrophes etc.

Mine is a Chromebook Laptop running [what else] Chrome Browser.

It has to do with character sets being called by FR's database(s).

Those that maintain those are working on it.
