I can’t see the video, but if it’s Ben Carson, then yes.

They're not. But the story of Joseph and the granaries is. I didn't mean to imply they were. Once I thought I read in the OT God said, "I hate obelisks." I tried to find it again and never could so I must have imagined that.

I'm sorry you went to all that trouble. I'm tired and notice lately that my writing ability, if I ever had any, is slipping, can't find the right words for what I mean to say. I am seriously starting to forget words. Yesterday I couldn't think of this food so googled the ingredients, found it, now can't remember it again. Tried to make an association and forget that. Avacados, tomatoes, onions, lime juice, am not looking it up again tonight. I hate it when this happens.

but I still can type like a crazed woman even though I have to back up to correct typos and finally get fed up with that ;-(.

I'd better give this up for tonight. Lots of interesting news today, too much for one day.

Shaggy and Scooby have been inside too. Apparently, there are more secret rooms and tunnels than you would expect.

I know that a Republican’s view on how the ancient Egyptians stored grain is of crucial importance. Of course, Hillary Clinton’s activities that may have directly or indirectly armed ISIS isn’t relevant at all and our media won’t waste any time asking about that.

This guy doesn’t know about US immigration law on Cuban nationals?

They are washing up like seaweed everyday, this has been US policy since Clinton and he never heard of it?

He’s not playing with a full deck.

“... but historical records of when the pyramids were built, for what purpose...”

What historical records cite when they were built?

Dating of the pyramids is based on Kings Lists - the most used is a known fake, and the second most used seems to be some sort of copy of the first. What physical record do you cite?

What historical record cites purpose of the pyramids at Giza? There are paintings on some pyramid walls like the Pyramid of Djoser (which may turn out to be newer than the Giza pyramids) - but none on the Giza pyramids.

Those like Pyramid of Djoser images may turn out to be newer than the ones at Giza, which in turn may turn out to be far older than thought by some hundreds of years - according to recent optical thermolumensce (when 2 pieces of stone were last joined) tests on the more recent of the three.

Those in the images are in the south of Egypt, while those at Giza are in the north which was ruled by “westerners” or “Libyans” until conquered by the southerners or Upper Egyptians long after the Giza structures were built. (which, BTW, seem to have been designed and built as one structure, and later re-purposed by the locals as was common in those times).

They may have indeed popped out of nowhere some 5-6,000 years ago, but likely their predecessors were long destroyed or are in inaccessible areas - filled with jihadis and such - west of Egypt to the coast in Mauritania. Even if some of these putative predecessors existed in some form up to relatively recent times when Mohammad’s Varsity pillaged the area in the 7th Century, they may have been totally destroyed, as the Varsity totally destroyed the vast gain farms and all other vegetation (using huge goat herds) turning the North African Coast into today’s semi-arid desert.

Protecting elite or gain storage equally dumb.

“They were designed to be entered one time, for the funeral of pharoah, and then sealed shut forever.”

Except there is no evidence that the pyramids at Giza were ever used for that purpose, nor that they were meant to be sealed forever.

Nor were slaves used to build them - those that worked on the complex were well paid, fed, and cared for - it was an honor to work on them. You cannot understand the complex if one thinks of it as a Christian, rather one must think like an Egyptian of the Old Kingdom, which means to think symbolically not logically; this is sort of like asking a aborigine hidden in the Amazon to understand social media, only that is an easier task.

Did you know that the interior of the Giza Pyramids reflect sound in perfect harmonics? Or that the whole Giza complex was designed as one structure?

This dog should be allowed to die - too many other targets/issues to beat with the stick.

Site mentions that Imhotep invented a liquid stone formula 5000 ya - problem is that the Pyramid of Djoser and Imhotep may be far newer that the Giza complex, not the other way around.

All modern Egyptology is based on a linear progression that must fit the formula conceived in the early 18th Century, else any data outside of that formula is either distorted, discarded, or ignored, even prohibited. Careers and much money depend on this formula working and being believed in by the unwashed.

The wheel may not have been around in Old Kingdom times, but there is nothing to prove that Old Kingdom Egyptians built the Giza complex in the first place. Rather there is more evidence that the “Westerners”, whoever they were, built the complex - as they ruled from Mauritania to just east of the Nile delta until conquered by the southerners - from Upper Egypt - Djoser, Imhotep, and the guys - long after the complex is acknowledged to have been built.

It could well be that the Westerners had the wheel, but there is no way to find out as the western area they ruled is far too dangerous to enter - let alone explore, or buried under hundreds of feel of the Nile delta mud.

Rome, Italy, Sicily imported vast quantities of grain from Egypt, which was metaphorically their “granary”.
Pyramids symbolize Egypt.

Good grief.
