This video is one in a series of videos and websites which are being posted on FreeRepublic in the coming days in regard to nutritional health. In the beginning these videos were being posted as a rebuttal to an article and comments in another posted article on FreeRepublic remarking on obesity. Due to the strong interest in obesity and nutritional health as it relates to Type II Diabetes, the videos relating to Type II diabetes and how to reverse the progression of the disease are being moved forward among the other video topics in this series. Expect to see a mixture of videos regarding the role of carbohydrates in the diet and their relationship to nutritional health topics ranging from metabolic syndrome and Diabetes to dementia, Parkinson's Disease, Altzheimer's Disease, and more. The effects of standard government sponsored diets, health association diets, and alternative diets upon everyday nutrition, sports nutrition, and diabetic nutrition will be mixed in with videos focused on the use of various low carbohydrate and high fat (LCHF) diets, such as the ketogenic diets as a treatment for Type II Diabetes.

I have been taking a supplement called: Citrus Bergamot for my high cholesterol.
This supplement has kept me from having to endure any statins; which do not agree with me, and have already caused me to lose a lot of muscle strength.
My doc and I went on a 120 day testing (2 bottles of supplement @ $38/per) .. and overall, my cholesterol went down a total of 86 points.
Now, I’m healthier, and happier; and I can have a steak a couple of times a year and not worry about it.
It’s also known to help decrease blood sugar, and my number didn’t increase at all during the 120 days.
I go for my annual later this month .. and we’ll see how the supplement is working.
Request to be added to ping...
My husband replaced cooking oil with lard and cut back on carbs. Cut his cholesterol from 300 to just under 200 in 6 weeks.
That was a few months ago. He’s due for another check and hoping to get off the statins this time.
That is great news Marie .. good luck getting rid of the statins. Aside from the muscle destruction, they also caused my mouth and throat to swell up. Very scary.
I have it noted in my chart that any medication which has a side effect of swelling of the throat and tongue, they are not to administer the medication.
