Lacerated kidney, pffffft!

Back when I played one game I broke my ankle in the first quarter, just tapped it up and kept going. Broke my throwing arm in the second quarter so they put a splint on it and I threw the rest of the game with my left arm. They took my appendix out at halftime, but I was back for the second half. Fourth quarter I lost my left eye so then only rolled out to the right. Made it kind of hard to throw with my left arm while rolling out to the right, but times was tough back then and we was even tougher. (Yes, I'm joshing)

Today’s football players cannot HOLD A CANDLE to you guys from the past. Amazing what people would do.

(and yes, I know you’re kidding...but you’re also making a point)

“but times was tough back then and we was even tougher.”

And you were a chain smoker and drank a lot.
