I think John Fn Kerry can help you out there. He learned to trap buffalo in 2004.

Huntered.com is a good course. As far as learning goes, there are tons of vids, but you might try hunting or trapping forums. Lot’s of nice folks want to share knowledge. You might find someone in your area that will take you.

Where can I learn to hunt in Mid-atlantic?

Terceira Island, Azores archipelago, Portugal is located right in the middle of the Mid-Atlantic Ocean and once had sub-hunter aircraft stationed there.

Learning to hunt is easy. Go find a tree and sit under it. Becoming a successful hunter takes work and dedication with a smidge of luck.

What are you interested in hunting?

At my Mom’s house in Maryland. Bring a bag of baby carrots and a claw hammer, and you’ll limit out on whitetails in about an hour.

My front yard. Right now I’m looking at six does, each the size of a pickup. And we’re not talking some little rice burner mini-truck; I’m talking a four-door F-350 diesel dually longbed. I couldn’t fit even one of those girls in my freezer and they know it. They’re smirking at me.
