Republican Trump drops 12 percentage points in poll: Reuters/Ipsos

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. presidential hopeful Donald Trump's support among Republicans has dropped 12 points in less than a week, marking the real estate mogul's biggest decline since he vaulted to the top of the field in July, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll. Trump was the favorite of 31 percent of Republicans in a rolling poll in the five days ended on Nov. 27. That was down from a peak of 43 percent registered on Nov. 22. The dip follows criticism of Trump for comments he made in the aftermath of the Nov. 13 Paris attacks that killed 130 people and wounded hundreds more. Following the attacks, Trump told an NBC News reporter that he would support requiring all Muslims within the United States to be registered to a special database, which his critics have likened to the mandatory registration of Jews in Nazi Germany. Trump has also been criticized for flailing his arms and distorting his speech as he mocked a New York Times reporter, Serge Kovaleski, who is disabled. Trump mocked the reporter as he defended his unsubstantiated assertion that during the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, he watched on television as "thousands and thousands" of people in New Jersey cheered while the World Trade Center fell.erval of 5.2 to 6.1 percentage points.

The anti-Trumpers might want to keep the champagne corked-— still very early.

Every time I see the NYT playing the “gimp card”, I think of Zed on Pulp Fiction telling his guys to “bring out the Gimp”.
Wish I could post a gif showing that scene.....

So let me see if I follow this.

12% of the very same people who supported Trumps anti-illegal, anti-Mccain, anti-Meggin, anti-establishment pussy candidate, anti-PC platform are going to desert him because of his anti-mooselimb terrorist immigrant statements?

Get a life.

I’ve been casually watching the anti-Trump poster names for months, they seem to rotate through.

That said, who believes, even for a moment that any candidate would drop 12 points in a week?

Trump must have hit his mother with a hammer and stabbed his daughter through her belt.

Might as well pop it and drink it now. The news isn't going to get better.

Here we go. . The start of the "Trump dropping in the polls because we told you so" polls.

Don't believe any of them.

The American People see Trump as not a politician but as a 'fed up' American, just like we are. Trump may not be perfect but people identify with his 'you're fired politicians' attitude and the need to make America great again. He sees Washington D.C. as needing a private company overhaul and reset. I do too. If he were applying for the job, and I was on the acceptance committee with 11 others, I would recommend we hire him.

Think about that. You're on the acceptance committee. Who would even make your cut to the top five? The 'final four' then the top two? Trump has the qualifications, the drive, the proven track record and he would sell us in the interview, or at least I can envision he would sell me. The top five of course would already have been vetted and had their FBI background checks and are all clean as a whistle.

Now If I was on the committee in 2008. . and 2012. . Think about that. Obama wouldn't have even made the cut. He wouldn't even pass the standard FBI background check. Sometimes you wonder how all this happened with Obama.

Anyway, I would hire Trump! Going along with this idea, Cruz, Fiorina and Carson would be runner-ups. No one else would even be considered in my book.

As people learn more about the reporters underhanded treatment of the Palins, yes, it might help Trumps numbers move up.

We have already tried privatization, and it turns out just to be another form of crony capitalism. What you need is someone who will appoint cabinet officers who will decide what needs to be done for their departments to serve the interests of the American people and then make the people in their departments do those things and take them out if they do something else instead.

It is hard to fire a federal employee, but you can side-line them if they are in the way.

Word, bro.

Trump isn't a candidate any more. He's a movement.

I’m confident the primitive motive is to get people to comment to keep these BS articles up front and center so the title/article is seen more. Most questionable articles like this never make it to 50 or so because most know it’s BS. But then the BS article reappears in a few hours as if by magic. Ha!

I try to make it a habit to simply skip BS stuff like this. And this is my last post on it because I’m tired of the bull s**t...lol

Serge Kovaleski did a number of hit pieces on Sarah Palin and her family including their child with Downs Syndrome but for some reason this Democratic poster child He-Whose-Name-Must-Not-Be-Mentioned is (apparently) `off limits’?
Why is that?
Because he’s a snowflake, like all the precious college children complaining of being abused by us adults?
No. It’s because he’s a lefty.

Let this story die—as happened almost immediately after Obama shot off his mouth on the Tonight Show and compared his bowling to the special olympics.

This is a conservative website, not a DU annex. I can read this kind of happy crappy repeated 24/7 at any number of dying MSM dinosaurs, but I don’t expect to see it on an endless loop here because I come here expecting not to be exposed to that kind of lefty cant `repeating the lie until it becomes true’.
It’s been ventilated here over-and-over by anti-Trumpette concern trolls, so maybe it’s time to take your `poor Zu Zu Kovaleski’s petals’ ... and stick them up your ... hey look, yet another noob squirrel posting yet another “Trump Is A Monster!” thread!

Your plan sounds like a great idea and sounds like something Trump would insist on doing. I know it's currently hard to fire deadwood, but can't that even be changed. What about public sector unions? I would hope everything is on the table to at least take a look at.

Let's face, who besides Trump would even investigate various departments, entrenched bureaucracies, do some downsizing and cut the deadwood. We need to run the federal government as a business not a bottomless money pit. It's Our Tax Money and if you define taxes as 'theft of income' then it makes sense for all of us to be interested in a complete top to bottom overhaul of the Federal Government. It will never be efficient if it's 'do whatever you want' in every department.

A Fed employee once told me your promotion up the system depended on how many new people you hired and how many departments you were able to create. You were labeled a doer then. Now that's just the opposite of the way a private business would look at it.
