My son and family visited for Thanksgiving. He is conflicted between Trump or Cruz. Either way, I can live with it.
The only liberal in my family is my sister and she lives 1,000+ miles away, so when we talk, it's not about politics.
I think the support for Trump is broader and deeper than the msm believe.
BTW, Thanksgiving is past, and for all the oracles that predicted the demise of Trump by Thanksgiving, what is next day of Trump's doom?
I tend to avoid discussing much about politics on Thanksgiving other than with my like minded brothers. My liberal neice, upset at Trumps comments about Carly, said what a horrible human being he was. Well, it hit me wrong and I went off on a rant how the all time worst human being was Obama and I started listing the reasons till I regained my composure. Regardless, I expect the Dems will pound the Horrible meme should Trump get the nomination and have at least some success with it, particularly with young women.

In the real world, it’s painfully obvious even to many lefties that Trump or anyone that offers greatness for America is the true new norm.
I suspect the truth will eventually set in, cause depression, and they may not even turn out to vote.
Politics comes up in different forms at our Thanksgiving table.
I was in Portland, ME for vaca this year. I noted how hypocritical I thought it was that for a city that welcomes the homeless with open arms and embraces air hand dryers in order to “save the tree” has combo locks on all the restaurant bathrooms (available only to paying customers) and how a stationary and card shop owner was wearing a “Trees are Living Beings” t-shirt. It was ignored and they turned it into “Bernie would never allow that nonsense”. I said, “pass the dressing”.

* Bernie Sanders 13.5%

Add up the numbers, if the R's all go to Trump and all the leaning D's go to Hilda or Bernie, it is a land-side. Even Walker is doing poorly, let alone Jepito.
and the totals are:
* 35.7% for Hilda / Sanders
* 64.3% for Donald Trump
That would be a far greater woopin' than Reagan vs. Mondale...

This week the scandal is that Trump supposedly mocked a handicapped reporter. Wendy Davis did the same thing to her wheelchair bound rival for governor.
It would seem that Ms. Brooke and her sister actually enjoy anal coitus.
Trump is not my first choice (not my last either) - but no doubt about it, his ability to make certain heads explode....by what he says and by who supports him - is a gift from God for the Republic.
