Microsoft is offering Cortana (somewhat crippled -- the article calls it lobotomized) for iOS devices. Does anyone think they will install it on their iPhones or iPads? -- PING!

MS ports their Cortana digital assistant to iOS and Android - ANDROID PING!
Android Ping!

My takeaway: no compelling reason to favor the MS app over existing iOS and Android offerings. In fact, MS stripped out the voice search feature of Cortana which would make a fairly convincing reason *not* to switch. Full disclosure though - I don't use a personal digital assistant app on my phone anyway. Nothing I see here makes me want to start.
