I guess they’d be doing this to boxing but there isn’t any money in boxing anymore. It’s better to go after Daddy BIG Bucks, the NFL. The ambulance chasers are already pimping their services to “former football players” on FNC.
The NFL has two choices: 1. directly confront this problem (I should get credit for not saying “head-on”), or 2. watch the pool of available players dry-up to the point where you will only have retards playing the game (albeit making piles of money).
Think about it folks. What does football do? It brings together people of all different races, socio-economic backgrounds, and locations. It promotes the military and our veterans. Can’t have that per the Left, they function off of chaos and divisiveness, so that’s why they are attacking football.
Despite efforts by both sides to make this a political or societal issue it is,in fact,a *medical* issue.Certain types of injuries that can be suffered in football,baseball,hockey,boxing (and others) either can,or cannot,result in serious,long term deficits later on.
Neurologists,neurosurgeons and neuropathologists...and *not* newspaper columnists or lawyers...should be the ones who determine the science involved.
I would bet they had concussions in High School and College before entering the NFL.

Has anyone studied any connection with steroid use and "chronic traumatic encephalopathy in the brains of deceased football players"?
I'm not denying the concussion issue, but there needs to be a whole lot more medical study which would include medical analysis of current players and body chemistry and brain activity. The players do not want to be tested for steroid use and HGH in their active playing years.
HGH and PED being taken and then the body's natural healing response to concussions may greatly change the after effects of said concussions.
I am sure that concussions do occur.
However, there was a former offensive lineman who became a professional wrestler after football. He had never had a concussion in football but received an injury in wrestling.
What did he do? The hypocrite is the one who started all of the concussion humbug in the NFL.
There is a war on football and anything else masculine and uniquely American.
Concussions are just the BS tool they are using with which to wage that war.
