With just a soupcon more of its traditional insensitivity, the UNâs Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), ended its ruefully named âConference of the Parties 21â (COP21) in Paris on Saturday. Iâm sure COP21 was indeed a conference of parties, wild parties, featuring only the best of everything for everyone there. Oysters, pate dâfoie gras, Dom Perignon, Courvoisier, hmmm.
After spending nearly two weeks (and gazillions of dollars) at Le Bourget, just, a few miles northeast of Paris, one can only imagine the debaucheries that must have led to the gout & hangovers, which in turn led to the aching heads and blurred vision at the morning conclaves, which furthermore led to the âAgreementâ the IPCC has so jubilantly touted.
Yes, friends, some 50,000 âdelegatesâ from 196 countries spent two weeks wining and dining themselves, all on the hapless taxpayersâ dollars. Take a wild guess which country had the largest delegation at a whopping 383 delegates? Was it China? Was it India? Was it the US? No, friends it was⦠wait for itâCANADA! But weâll talk about that in a minute.
No nation that signed on to this âAgreementâ is actually planning to adhere to its terms, as it would surely be harmful to any national economy, given the exceptionally weak recovery from the Global Recession over the past seven year and the idiotic binding and non-binding commitments.

But there can be no doubt that China,at least,is laughing her a$$ off right now at the stupidity of the capitalist running dogs' willingness to damage their own economies by signing. So maybe Canada will have at least one market open to her.
Yup. Consequences of not attaining your promise? Climate shaming at best. Real world consequences......meh. Somebody got to go to some awesome parties though.
But he’s so hawt! And dreamy. Say, don’t we know someone like that who will soon be enjoying yet another Christmas in Hawaii?
Could someone (with the know-how) make a graphic of Stephen Harper saying, “Miss me yet”?
“Dope” is right...
