I wonder if staying and crushing the powers that be in the GOP is a better idea.

I am an independent too, at heart, but I’m pulling that Republican lever for somebody. Whoever wins the nomination has to be somewhat better than a marxist democrat.

Personally, I think the guy is full of crap.
Planned Parenthood has been funded to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars over the years, through Democrat and Republican administrations alike. This included a period from 2001 through 2006 when the GOP controlled both houses of Congress and the White House.
I'm not sure why Franklin Graham -- or any other now-former Republican, for that matter -- would care so much about it now.

I sure hope that he (and other folks who leave the party) can vote in primaries in their states to help purge us of RINOs. We need every anti-RINO vote we can muster. Folks who unilaterally disarm (i.e., they’re in states where you have to belong to a party to vote in its primary) by leaving the party are giving the RINO GOPe leadership exactly what they want.
