I don’t know who did this

But many would think it brilliant if Trump had done something similar.

Buffets ad would come on a train full of oil, blowing up towns.

I would not be surprised if someone did a “hillary for prison 2016” sky writing now.

I went as a kid a few times....the worst were the times in high skoo when a bunch of us would freeze our butts off pulling an all-nighter on the cold sidewalks, and then looking for a place to somewhat privately pee before daylight.

The best was when my Dad got invited to bring the family to Meadow Gold Dairy's building on Colorado Boulevard.....warm inside with all sorts of food, and a couple of steps to their private bleachers.

It looks like the sky writing that the Geico Sky Typers do, and Geico is part of Berkshire Hathaway, I believe.

Cost isn’t a big deal.

With all of the terror safety, who got clearance to fly over the parade?

Who's stupid idea was it to politicize the Rose Bowl.

Man that ruined the event as far as I'm concerned.

Don't forget this is the same crew that came up with `Chaos Candidate`.

Here is an actual Jeb war room chart:

Perhaps somebody with a lot of pull, somebody who has poopy diapers over an image of himself picking his nose.

Too bad Trump wasn’t in the parade, had he been, there may have been boos at the plane, which the media would interpret as being meant for Trump. I think you catch my drift?

This was likely at 10,000 ft. TFRs over things like a football game or parade don’t extent that high. Normal ATC rules would be in effect.

I never watched from the sidelines, but I did march in the Parade twice, as a member of the Glendale (CA) high school band.

Felt sorry for everyone marching behind the equestrians.

There are volunteers with brooms and scoopers to clean up after the horses. Otherwise, there is no way for band members to swerve or even have the visibility to know when to swerve.

This year’s theme is National Parks, which black people don’t visit. So the whole parade is white privilege and rayciss!

I didn't realize it required 5 planes.

Wikipedia...In 1946 the Skywriting Corporation found themselves with a fleet of surplus World War II planes and developed "dot matrix skywriting", or sky typing. Skytyping is the process of using five planes in formation to choreograph puffs of smoke being released from each plane. The messages, written at 10,000 foot altitude, can be up to 1,250 feet tall and over five miles long. Traditional skywriting letters are 3,000 feet high and take longer to write.

SkyTypers says it costs $1,500 per message and "variable copy a minimum of 10 times" (not sure what the last phrase means).

So it really doesn't take deep pockets. It wouldn't take much to get a few FReepers together to put up our own sign.
