There’s a school of thought that suggests that the whole “man-machine” agenda is nothing less than the ultimate mark of the beast, and will eventually involve DNA manipulation, as in adding a third strand of programmable DNA matter to the human genome. If that is the case, who would be doing the programming, and to what end?
