South Korea has twice the population and god knows how many times the GDP of North Korea.
Why do U.S. taxpayers still have to pay to keep troops in Korea?

One explanation I’ve heard (many years ago) is “To keep the South Koreans from going north”.

Why do we have to keep paying for troops in Europe? It's because the Euroweenies can't seem to manage their own affairs without a mean babysitter.
