It's over.
The NFL owners voted tonight to allow Stan Kroenke to move the Rams to Los Angeles, ending the team‘s 21-year run in St. Louis. The owners also agreed to let the San Diego Chargers explore a move to the same facility, in suburban Inglewood, which is south of L.A.
The Rams will be gone in time for next year's season.

These teams have no faith and no loyalty whatsoever. Just whoever will build a billion dollar stadium so they can make millions selling tickets to us.
They are going back to where they started from.

Los Angeles is a bad market for football.
At least this time they had the courtesy of giving prior notice, unlike Art Modell or Robert Irsay.
Cleveland?
The city of Cleveland would like to have a word with you about being the original home to the Rams.
I could be wrong but I think the only reason they did was to put the Super Bowl, in.
Given the current performance of the Browns, it wouldn’t have been a bad idea.
I was going to say. The LA Rams c. 1975-1982 were the last time (the only time, really) I followed football.
Packers to adopt St. Louis fans
Wow, this makes no sense -- Chargers tried for years to get a new stadium, now they'll get half of one, in a city and suburbs with a good-sized percentage of the entire population of the state of California. What a puzzle.
Now the word is that the Raiders may move to San Antonio, but I think there’s no way Jerry Jones is going to allow that to happen.
To say that some people are upset by this decision is a major understatement. There’s a column by Paul Friswold, a writer for the Riverfront Times of St. Louis, entitled “ F**k You, Stan Kroenke, and the Toupee You Rode in Under”;
On a personal note, when I read about City A wailing because the sports franchise they lured away from City B with tax cuts and sweetheart deals is now being lured away by City C with the same tactics, I’m reminded of a line from an old song. “You knew durn well I was a snake before you took me in...”
Ram’s stadium is being privately funded.
Or “If he cheated on his wife to be with you, he’ll eventually cheat on you with someone else.”
With 8 regular season home games you don’t need a stadium 365 days a year.
In fact it is uneconomic.
Things have changed in 20 years. I expect solid support and some Hollywood tie ins. There’s a whole generation in LA that has never had their own team.
