Explaining Trump is Easy

Explaining Trump is easy:

We have finally realized that regardless of what they SAY, there is very little difference between what the Republicans and Democrats actually DO once they are in power.

We can not fix it within the system. We have tried that and failed miserably.

So we have turned to outsiders (primarily Trump and Cruz). We are fed up with BOTH parties and want to fire essentially ALL of them.

This is my attempt to explain Trump. Someone else can explain Cruz.

Trump is not as pure as the driven snow. But we have tried pure before and it turned out to be disguised manure.

It is not just that Trump is an outsider. He gets it on three really big issues:

1. Illegal immigration. That is the issue that originally propelled him to front runner status. If we do not fix it we lose our country.

2. Radical Islam. ALL of our milquetoast leaders in Washington and ALL of our mainstream media are afraid to even say what us common folks can see easily: Radical Islam is EVIL.

3. Political Correctness. Our whole country has been brow beaten into abject fear by political correctness. Good grief, it took Trump to bring back the phrase Merry Christmas.

Trump took the lead on all three of these issues. Some of our other candidates have similar positions to his on these issues, NOW. But Trump was the one with the guts and savvy to actually bring them up and make them into major issues. Some of our candidates talk a good game, but Trump PLAYS a good game.

So... Is Trump perfect? NO.

Does he have the guts, charisma, and leadership ability to raise issues and WIN when he does? YES.

Trump has completely changed the issues in this campaign, and changed them in a way this country desperately needs.

NOT ONE of our other candidates could have done what he has done. He has been attacked non-stop by both parties and the entire MSM, and has still pulled it off.

From my personal perspective there are only two candidates I would consider voting for: Trump and Cruz.

But it is very clear that Cruz could not have done what Trump has done. That makes Trump my choice hands down.

FR has a lot of passionate people who really love this country.

Trump has one thing going for him that Ted Cruz can never see in his support. If you look at this picture, you will see a pair of black girls who love him, but behind them are YOUNG PEOPLE, excited by someone who they see as a crusader. Ted can only appeal to his limited segment of "conservatives".

I was for Ted before I was against him. I am solidly a Trumpeter now! "The Donald" can and will win (IMHO)!

This is one my biggest issues with Trump. When I hear him speak, I hear, “Government is broken. Bureaucrats are stupid. Politicians are stupid. I’m smart. I will get smart people, and run it better”. I don’t want it run better. I want it cut, and not with a knife, with a chainsaw! I don’t think Trump intends to cut anything out of the Federal budget. I think Cruz is much more likely to cut the budget.

Tell me how Trump (pbuh) supporting touch back amnesty and legalizing 11m illegals is going to help the country.

Let’s do great deals!!

Should send shivers down the spine of any true conservative.

I support Cruz as well, but I seriously wonder if he could get anything done the way he has alienated himself from Republicans in the Senate. Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with what he has done, and I even think his fight with Obama that led to the shut down did more good than bad. But I honestly think, if Cruz were president, you would finally see that eunuch McConnell develop a spine to prevent Cruz from realizing any political victories.

I worry that Trump is not serious. But if he is serious on the few issues listed above, he will be a very good, if not great president. We are not going to turn this mess around in an election cycle. The fix is going to be generational, and it is unrealistic to expect our candidate to be perfect.

My biggest worry. I supported Arnold (not going to try to spell his last name tonight) with the belief he would give conservatism a positive message, and look what a loser he turned out to be.

For instance Cruz would never have said that contributing $250,000 to the Clinton Pay for Play Foundation was worse than Hillary’s e-mail scandal.

Trump is willing to go down into the lowest depths of the gutter to win at all costs!

That’s just what we need!

GO TRUMP GO!

Pot. Meet Kettle.

Ted Cruz would have said enabling and campaigning for Barack Obama’s legacy trade agenda is the “principled conservative” (TM) thing do to.

Obviously, Cruz is willing to go to the lowest depths of the gutter and sacrifice any principle for his fat cat corporate crony globalist donors.

That’s just what we need!

GO Cruz GO!

Contrast that with the young people that are brought up to sit behind Billary. It would've been exciting in the 90s, now they just stare blankly, roll their eyes, and stifle yawns.

I got caught up in and enjoyed the excitement and glitz of the early few months of the Trump anti-illegals, anti-PC, anti-unlimited refugee hype. The problem is, over time, my due diligence has resulted is a rapidly growing picture of a VERY undesirable candidate Trump. I am a conservative and cannot support someone so liberal, so phony, so vicious, and so devious. I do NOT trust Trump. I have been posting many of the facts I have collected about him and won’t in this post.

Cruz has warts. Every and any candidate has, but he also stands up to the left (Dem and GOPe)so much so that they can’t stand him, he is conservative, and he is generally a decent, highly intellegent and honest man. He is the probably the most conservative person to run for President in decades.

Back in the very early days I was hopeful that Walker, Carson, or even Rubio or a couple others might prove to be a choice. Over time, that changed too.

I pledged to NEVER again vote for a liberal or squishy GOPe again.

Do you see Cruz defaulting on the debt? I don’t. Trump wouldn’t have any problem defaulting on debt with China/Japan and give them the middle finger

That is true, Trump is used to declaring bankruptcy so may very well not care if the US defaults. Being the world’s currency of first reserve, it would be interesting to see the complete collapse of the world’s financial markets and banking systems, watching them completely disappear overnight.

I liked watching the Mad Max movies. We may get to live it. That reminds me, I could use more ammo.
