Well yeah :-> which is why Trump can get what *he* wants, too.

But I doubt that.

Actually, this is why I would LOVE Trump to win...then put Cruz in the A.G. seat with orders of “if even a WHIFF of lawlessness, unleash the flood-gates” and watch ‘em sweat and scatter to the winds.

Cruz gets the hot seat during confirmation, Trump would come down on those dummies on T.V./Twitter/etc. and do more than twist a few arms. He’d pitch the obstruction to the American people and they wold DEMAND satisfaction.

Oh, I would PAY $$ to see that go down. Guess this is a bad time for me to stop sniffing glue. /s

Nothing surprises me now. They posted an article from PoliticusUSA yesterday. Half their authors think Obama is too far right.

I think Cruz would be an outstanding AG.

And he might even want such a job.

It would probably make him too political to ever get a Scotus confirmation, but he might already have burned that bridge anyway. Barring a filibuster proof Senate, of course. Then I’d appoint him in a heartbeat.

And he doesn’t have to deal with the Canada question.

Huffington Post? Is that like New York City values?

I don’t care much if Cruz or Trumps gets a lot done. I just want everything Obama has done to be repealed. Hopefully congress will finally have the balls to do that once the veto threat is gone.

Huh??? That’s absurd. Look how much of Obama’s transformation that has occurred. How could this have happened, given he only had dem control for his first two years? You underestimate the power of the Presidency.

Works for me. I don't want government doing anything. Stop spending now.

He will make a pile of interesting appointments, and the bureaucratic apparatus will be in a panic. Thats one thing that will happen early.
Trump would be almost as good. It may become the best four years of “Celebrity Apprentice” ever.
As for Congress, the will pass the laws they have been passing, and getting vetoed, and now at least some of them won’t be vetoed.
An improvement overall.

I don’t want establishment, period, and I wonder why any conservative would.

Don’t post this crap if you like Cruz. I would gladly have him fighting the likes of the GOPe and populist liberals like Donald Trump. Your post helps the attack on Cruz so I declare you untrustworthy.

Why did Cruz manage to insult the rest of the country?

By the way, Reuters just released a new poll..
Trump 40.5% Cruz 10.5%

And if he would just get the Executive Branch of the government out of the way of job growth, deportations etc. he would do more for this country than getting a lot of pork passed.

That seems to indicate cruz is not the problem. Those working to undermine him are. And to be fair and consistant they will do the same to anyone including trump who tries to do things they dont agree with.

You are completely correct....and I agree with you on every point. It’s just that I feel that the GOPe and the Dems will cement the Uni-Party, as Paul Ryan has already started to do.....and I don’t think that Cruz can overcome what I will now call the Evil Empire. And I think that Trump really will be a wrecking ball, which is what I really want to see happen for our vets and border wall and economy.

Didn't insult me. I knew what he meant. Guys like Guilliani are great for NYC, because that's the best they can do. Not however for the rest of us.

He would get absolutely creamed in the general election. He would be lucky to get 100 EV’s.
