I get an Israeli Prilosec clone on Amazon prescription and save a lot over Wal-Mart’s Equate version, not to mention even more off the price of Prilosec itself.

This article seems to focus on how much more prime members are spending on Amazon, but that's not even the point. EVERYTHING I buy from Amazon is something I would be buying anyway, plus they are really good if something shows up damaged or you order the wrong thing by mistake.

I do have Prime, but take Rx omeprazole delayed release (40mg) which seems to be much more effective for some reason than two of the OTC 20mg products. Of the retail capsules/tablets, omeprazole magnesium seems to be much better absorbed than straight omeprazole. I also get famotidine from India (almost free) as a backup.
