Still my favorite now. Saw them in concert mid ‘80’s. Awesome show.

Spectacular band with spectacular tunes. Verdine was really the only one who was a super musician. But they had terrific tunes and arrangements.
When I was a dance-band musician in the 70’s EWF was the impossible ideal.
I recall going to an EWF concert in the early 80’s and it was simply grand. They killed it. Verdine was amazing, he could move his body in about 11 different axes at the same time.

VERY entertaining bit of 70s nostalgia

These guys are dropping of more than bankers taking flying lessons off tall buildings.
And the fact that both you and I and others here remember them is a stark reminder that we are as old as they were and we could go any day............
Enjoy the life you have and live it to its fullest..........

Spectacular band with spectacular tunes. Verdine was really the only one who was a super musician. But they had terrific tunes and arrangements. The Phenix Horns were a staple of Phil Collins' solo career, and also played on Genesis' "No Reply at All" and "Paperlate."

Maurice was the real deal. Others only mimicked him. RIP.

I knew a guy who played guitar for the commodores. Apparently their on stage guitarist was a great showman but a lousy guitar player. My friend sat backstage and played.
For me, EWF & the Spinners. Guaranteed to blow your mind so high you won’t come down.

I love EW&F. One of the tightest bands ever, reminiscent of the old Ellington bands.
