Well, it’s the gosh-honest truth. You can believe it or not believe it. Trump’s talk of “suing” turned my father off like a spiggot. Not that it was a huge surprise to me, as things like frivolous lawsuits and people that say they’re going to sue at the drop of a hat have always been something that made my father lose respect.
Plus, a lot of this has to do with regional differences. For a long, long time profanity was just used far more promiscuously up in the northeast. I can’t count how many times I’ve talked to guys who went up north for the first time (usually in the 1930s-40s) and told me how stunned they were at all the profanity. It just wasn’t done down here like that. I certainly never heard anyone in my family... father, mother, uncles, aunts, sister, grandparents, EVER use the “F” word. Never in my life.
When profanity was used in a public place down here, especially within earshot of a female, people like my aforementioned uncle tossed them out in the street and knocked the stuffing out of them. By the time I worked as a laborer (yes, I dug ditches), the lunch-shed I shared with eight pipefitters, had a pretty decent amount of salty talk, as standards had withered a bit. But that was the kind of venue it used to be a bit more accepted, and the hard environment (unbelievable heat, desolation) certainly allowed some cultural leeway.
Nowadays, what I hear both on television and out in public is far worse than what I used to hear amongst those pipefitters. Everybody practically talks like gutter-trash. But, we’ve become a gutter-trash society, with gutter-trash leaders. So, I guess it’s all even.
Carson has run a sham of a campaign. If he wants to talk about honesty, someone should expose the deceit of his campaign in leasing a campaign coach to travel around and drive through primary states when Carson was not within a 500 miles of any of those states.
Carson has only just arrived in New Hampshire. I don’t know if he has any events scheduled or not, but that sure was a long time to spend getting fresh clothes.

I’m Catholic, as is my entire family. My sibling, cousins and I were never belittled or otherwise verbally attacked by our parents or other adult family members-if we were lectured, it was in a level, logical voice, sometimes accompanied by a finger shaken at you. The message got across better than it would with shouting and hysterics-the reasons why the behavior was unacceptable was always clearly stated...
Maybe next he can bring out Sasha Dubinsky the one-armed violinist.

I know a lot of people that use to be Pro-Abortion and have switched to Anti Abortion position. It’s not an anomaly. Most of Generation X is that way. Twenty years ago most of them were pro abortion. Not so much today.
I think once Generation X started having babies, many of them realized it is a human Being at conception. Furthermore, no one has a right to murder someone in your home just because its in your home. Ditto the body.
Granted Trump is not a Generation X, but I get the switching of positions.
The fact the Entire Establishment is going attacking Trump is the certification that Trump is the real deal. Plus people who have known Trump privately for years say this is the real Donald Trump. When he was a businessman he had to play the game in a liberal city like New York.
Isn’t the Roberts tax o-care one more reason it is so hard for businesses to stay here? How is he going to get them back and who is going to pay for his universal healthcare?
