Like you say, this is no hill to die on.
I hope so too. It just sickens me at the thought of the FBI going in there and murdering more people. One was too many. The only thing that may come out of this is the American public realizing how truly evil the US government really has become.
There has been misinformation and virtual blackout on what has already happened. America though killing religious nuts at Waco was fine after the way they saw it presented in the media.
They could kill those remaining people and conceivably, it would not even make the news.
That’s why a TRIAL for wrongful death of Finicum, even if a civil trial, would garner attention.

Yes and I’m sorry to say that I thought Waco was necessary for the longest time til I finally wised up. They just could not convince me on Ruby Ridge. Since then I have seen and experienced things that have really opened my eyes. But the govt likes to act in the shadows and the media aid and abets it. We do need sunshine on their cowardly actions and you are right about a civil trial.
This current situation in Burns is bad because if you are going to succeed in civil disobedience you need numbers and you need public support. If 300 people were sitting out in the wildlife refuge and the whole community was out in the streets then CNN and Fox would be there and things would be different.

A one hour internet show last Monday featured David Fry and at one point his parents came on the line to talk with him.
Fry’s father said: “We’re proud of you.”
William Fry told the media last week that his son is no different from anyone who thinks ‘our country is going in the wrong direction’.
‘He believes it so strongly he is willing to stand up with the hope that these actions might wake the nation up and lead others to get involved to change our country’s course.’
Their case at Bundy’s ranch was more understandable for people, I think. They’d used it for years, they had cattle on it, and now the government was shutting them out, killing their cattle, and pretending the range was all theirs all the time.
And it was BUNDY’S own ranch that was the issue.
In Burns they’re holed up in a shack in the woods and no one is really informed about what they’re trying to accomplish, and they know that it isn’t these people’s OWN property that the government’s seizing.
I think they planned a weak operation and then it got even weaker.
I believe that he believes it.

I totally agree. The Bundy ranch was a total govt overreach and everybody recognized it. There were literally hundreds of protestors and miitia that showed up.
There is a reason the Oathkeepers and the Three percenters are not getting involved in this. Stewart Rhoades and Mike Vanderboegh tried numerous times to talk some sense into Aaamon Bundy but he would not listen. Now he’s likely going to get railroaded into prison along with his brother and a few others and a person has been murdered by the FBI.
